I was in the market for a inexpensive GPS that could be used on my motorcycle. The prices of other alternative GPS systems were far to expensive for what I wanted to spend. I never give reviews on products, but as there were some poor reviews I wanted to give my input.

Pros: Cheap, loads route guidance quick (comparing to Garmin), can be used while wearing motorcycle gloves, battery lasts two hours on a single charge, easy to install on motorcycle bar.

Cons: A little heavy, screen can be a tad difficult to make out in bright sunlight, no user manual.

Overall I am pleased with my purchase. I used it yesterday on a 120 mile ride using its own battery as a power source. The battery lasted a little over two hours before turing off (you have the ability to hook it up to the motorcycle if you need more time then that). In my opinion, it loaded maps quickly, and recalculated a new route when I missed turns. The bottom of the screen can be hard to read when in direct sunlight. This for me is a non issue as I have the turn guidance at the top of the screen. I found slightly angling the GPS down on the bars helpful for mitigating the glare of the sun. There is no user manual for the GPS but if you have any experience with another brand of GPS or a smart phone it wont be an issue.

Ordered on 7/28/13 arrived on 10/11/13. Unit would not turn on so I charged the unit overnight. Would not turn on until I hit the reset button. Unit turned on, set it up, GPS would not run. Turned it off, will not start. Will begin the return process tomorrow. I do not recommend this product unless you want to be frustrated and give your money away.

I got this for my motorcycle, but not only does the screen wash out in the daylight, it doesn't even get started as it hangs up looking for a satellite signs, so as of yet I haven't been able to use it.

My unit just arrived and I just got it working. I bought it for use on my motorcycle but it looks like the handlebar configuration won't work with my handlebars. I turned the unit on immediately and went through the settings configuration to set the unit correctly but the maps and GPS wouldn't come on. There is a Micro SD included that needs to be put underneath the battery before the unit will go into map mode. Once it came on it would not find the gps satellites. I clicked "help" on the unit and it said to go into the settings in the map mode and go to GPS and select "Enable". It took a few minutes and came up with accurate position and has been working like a champ all afternoon. I am NOT tech savvy, but was able to get the unit working. Hope this helps.

Ordered it in Feb, finally arrived mid April. The unit would not turn on at all. Yes, I held the power button firmly until my finger went numb. I could hear and feel a slight click when pressing the power button, but nothing happened. I tried all of the different connection options, nothing. I finally was able to get the seller to agree to accept a return of the item. I shipped it back on April 20th. it is now June 23rd and I am still waiting on the refund of the purchase price and return shipping. Stay away from this seller. I am very disappointed that Amazon would have anything to do with a company like this.

I lead motorcycle rides and my friends were hastling me that I should get a GPS, as I will miss a turn now and then. I could not affort shelling out $400 plus to get a TomTom or Garmin motorcycle GPS unit. I have tested it out briefly in the car, but have not used it yet on my motorcycle.

The maps are loaded up on it, it has a nice display, good voice, lots of features. The screen is only 3.5, but I think it will work fine.

At first it did not turn on, then I removed and reinstalled the battery, plugged it into the charger and it came right on.

The only negative that I can say is that the handlebar bracket that comes with it, is small more for a bicycle or maybe a 7/8" handlebar. I went on line and ordered a ram mount for a total of around $19, then another $9 for shipping.

I bought this unit through ebay at an auction, as it had been returned by a customer, but there was nothing wrong with it.

I would recommend this unit, some of these reviews are not giving it credit. It is loaded with maps and everything and seems very strong. It is a little heavier that the other newer Garmin automotive units, but it seems strong and well made.
There is a peak life unit that I think is the same unit, but under another name, but from the reviews that does not come with maps. This one comes with maps.

Hopefully I can get it installed on my motorcycle and not make wrong turns any more.

I don't think you could get a better buy unless you bought a refurbished or returned TomTom.

Nice for the price. Fast service. If your looking to put a GPS on your bike, and don't have 800 bucks to do it. This is perfect.
