Only get if you are a serious Motorhead fan,

If you want a Motorhead DVD, get Boneshaker. This one is ok, but kind of boring (lip syncing is always boring). I am a huge motorhead fan and the only reason I bought it was for the Killed By Death video.

The Best Of Motorhead DVD is a great collection of many ofof the vintage lineups best tunes all done in a semi-live (lip-sync) setting, but they pull it off perfectly. A few of the songs are from Another Perfect Day with Brian Robertson on guitar, all good.

I'm a long time Motorhead fan, but this DVD is sub par. Lip synced performances that are trite at best. Only good thing is you get to laugh at Brian Robertson in a couple of songs (what a poser!) Anyhow, you'd be better off listening to your cd's, closing your eyes, and imagining the last Motorhead concert you attended.

This DVD is an excellent collection of classic performances of the legendary Kilmister/Clarke/Taylor era, as well as a few spots with one-time guitarist(& sadly not well-recieved by fans), Brian Robertson, formerly of Thin Lizzy. Also included as a bonus feature is the classic "Killed By Death" video, done in totally `80's Heavy Metal style, with the dual-guitar assault of former member Mick "Wurzel" Burston & current mainstay axeman Phillip "the Beast" Campbell, as well as another one-time member, former Saxon drummer Pete Gill. And with these classics now available on DVD, this is a must-have for any Motorheadbanger (believe me I know-they're my favorites).Pat Atchinson

'videos', not a concert,

some may complain of 'lip-synching', but in the late '70's'early 80's, that's what videos were: visuals of a performance with the studio recording as a soundtrack. True, it would have been better if MH had been better at lip-synching and pretending to play their instruments, but part of their charm is that they are not into that kind of stuff. it also would have been better if they had been consitent with the canned crowd noise: after every song or none of them. But for what it actually is, a collection of promotional videos, it's very good, and is the only way you are going to get a visual of the "Fast and Philthy" lineup playing those songs that are not included on the '82 Toronto bootleg.
