Okay, I own this POS and I jumped on Amazon to shop for a replacement. First of all I'm HIGHLY frightened that so far this headset seems to have 5 stars. I don't know how that bodes for the other headsets I'll be looking at today. Now for the review:
Keep shopping. I paid $30 for this and I'd pay $30 again to get rid of it. It's small, it's light, it has a lot of talk time when fully charged, but it has issues.
It's too quiet. I have to PUSH it into my ear to hear it while driving. I often end conversations because I'm embarrassed to keep having to ask people to repeat themselves.
The battery drains itself if you leave it plugged into a car charger while the car is off. I'll drive around for three days with this thing plugged in and not use it. Then on the way home from work I'll unplug it and turn it on. It'll die before my call connects leaving me hurriedly and blindly grabbing for the headset in traffic. It often dies between when I can hear my call ringing and when the call is answered. Again in traffic this is a SERIOUS NUISANCE.
BTW, I have a pretty fancy Motorola phone. I don't believe that it is the culprit.
I yearn for my old corded headset, but my fancy new phone doesn't have a jack. So now I have to drop a buck-and-a-half to get decent sound quality. Anyway, thanks for reading. Good luck!
