This review is from: Motorola 89015J Dc800 Bluetooth Stereo Gateway (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I recently upgraded my hearing aids to a pair of Phonak aids and I purchased the phonak iCom. I did this so I could make a blue tooth pairing with my cell phone. With the Motorola Dc800 Bluetooth Stereo Gateway I am also able to hear my stereo, my TV, etc. in stereo through my hearing aids. I do not have to turn the volume up a drive the rest the family out of the room. Late at night if I want I can watch listen to music without anyone else hearing it. And I have stereo pumped through my hearing aids as I walk around the house. This is freedom for hearing aid patients like me.

Bought this adapter to use with Oticon hearing aid blue tooth "streamer" to listen to TV or stereo sound through the hearing aids. Hearing aid people sold their brand of TV adapter for $175, but it had major problems with interference. The Motorola device costs a lot less and works like a charm. No interference. Very powerful transmitter works throughout the house at distances further than normal bluetooth. Easy to set up and use. A really good buy.

Awesome for TV, not in sync for TV,
This review is from: Motorola 89015J Dc800 Bluetooth Stereo Gateway (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought the DC800 gateway 2 years ago and have paired it with many different devices. Headsets, receivers, dongles, phones. No complaints on the range or the quality of sound. I stream Pandora from my computer to my stereo all the time. There is a slight delay with the transmitted music, so there is an echo effect if the computer speakers are playing the music too. The computer is on the opposite side of my house so it really doesn't matter for me. Watching TV is out of the question, as the picture and the sound do not sync. I would say there is a .25 sec delay. So not real bad, just annoying.
