Can I Give it Zero Stars? This thing is useless.,
By Every time the d650 gets bumped or has pressure put on it (such as when bending over with it inside a case clipped to my waist) it disconnects from the iPod, loses power, and then has to be re-paired with the headset...which requires that you monitor a colored light on the headset...which requires that you take it off. Every ten or so time it pairs with the headset it requires that you pause and unpause the iPod, which requires that you remove it from whatever case you're using to do something active with it, and putting back in the case can provide enough force to dislodge the d650 and start all over. In short, it's going back.

It works for a short period of time,
By ithaca (USA) - See all my reviews It also separates from the Nano easily. I ended up using a hair tie to keep it connected. I'm not sure if it's related but I would occasionally get a "skipping/cutting out" with the music.

I've been using a Jabra A125S with my iPod 5G and it works well. The only drawback is the A125S has a battery life of only 6 hours, so I decided to try the Motorola D650 in hopes of a longer play time. Here are my complaints; The D650 drains the iPod battery quickly. When you pause your iPod for more than 60 seconds or so, the D650 powers off. When you start playing your iPod again, the D650 has to resync with the headset. Most of the time the resynch takes several minutes minutes and required repeatedly unplugging and plugging in the D650, starting and pausing the iPod, placing the headset back in pairing mode, etc. After owning the Motorola D650 for all of 5 days, it died completely. Unless your looking for poor quality, poor design and poor performance, don't bother buying a Motorola D650.
BTW - I've since purchased a Sony TMR-BT8IP. It costs more than the D650, but it performs superbly. Easy to synch and it stays synched, excellent power conservation, resistant to external emanations (microwaves, PC's etc.)

I am new to using it so it could be user error, but it keeps dropping signal from my headphones very easily which is a pain and a hassle!!

range of bluetooth is limited when linked to the bluetooth headphones. When carrying the Itouch in my front shirt pocket it would sometimes cut in and out on the headphones. If I moved the Itouch to my back pants pocket it didn't seem to cut out as often.

This is difficult to connect, and when driving from place to place the unused frequencies require continued searching.

I bought this to compensate for the amazing lack of a2dp on the iPhone. I was impressed with the sound quality and that you could actually control tracks, pause/play from the headphones. However, it is connected only by the port/charger connection and so it basically teeters on the brink of falling out at all times. plus there is the potential damage to the port itself to consider. all in all, this would be fine if you wanted to sit at your desk without wires getting in the way, but if you want something for the gym or any activity other than maybe bingo, look for another solution. I have an ipod shuffle connected to my bose earbuds with the cord wrapped up so it dangles. works great.

Confirming that it does NOT work w Ipod Touch 2nd gen. It works fine w the Nano 4th gen though. Does suck battery - but the sound is quite good (for a BT set).

I bought this for my 2nd Gen. iPod touch the adapter does not override the internal speaker and does not allow the product to work.. I had 3 replacements from motorola and none worked.. ItI did work with my wife's nano.
