I bought this without really knowing if I would find it useful or not. I love it, I keep it on my bedside table, as an alarm. Also I use Pandora for music in the bedromm, I have downloaded an ap for white noise too. This is a must have for travelers!

Unlike the first reviewer, I did receive a power cable/USB cord with mine. However, mine didn't work right- it put the Droid into car mode instead of multimedia mode. One 3 minute call to Motorola, and they shipped me a replacement, no cost, no strings attached- didn't even have to return the original. Very impressive.

Bought this on a whim and am happy I did. It makes a very good alarm clock with additional features. I was looking for Droid accy's and this was OE and Amazon's price was better than Verizon's.

Some basic notes:

* Charger is very sleek and looks great.
* Droid turns into a clock when attached. Quite cool.
* The dock does NOT come with USB/power cables. You need to buy those separately. It's JUST the dock.

The docking station is a neat idea and I had great hopes for it. Unfortunately, using the docking station requires that you remove your phone cover in order to connect (more trouble than it is worth!). Also, I found myself turning the phone away from me while I tried to sleep because the light was too bright (yes, I turned down the brightness to the lowest setting).

Product is great....turns your droid in to a desk clock. Charges the phone quickly. I saw this same product at the Verizon for $40....so this is a great deal.

And because the power supply is a switching multivoltage one I had no problems when I came back to Argentina (where we have 220v)

A great device. Makes charging easy. No fumbling w/ the micro USB connection. Just set it in and it is connected. Makes for a great nightstand alarm clock. Love how it automatically switches into clock mode w/ time, date and weather. Or plays music or picture slide show. Bought second one to travel with.

I love this docking station for my Droid2, no tangled cords, worrying about where your phone fell off the nightstand at, etc. It makes a great little night light if you want it to, and makes a great alarm clock, which is what I have always used my phone for. :o) Couldn't be happier. My friend paid about 40 bucks for his at Verizon, so this was by far a Super fantastic deal!

I love this dock, I got one for my office as we all know the battery life on the Droids is not very impressive. I was a little nervous because of the $20 price tag, official Motorola accessories shouldn't be this cheap haha! This dock works for my Droid 2 Global (Its not listed as compatible, but it worked for me) this makes my phone quickly accessible and I don't find my self having to fumble with my phone to check my messages. One of the things I really like is that I can see if I have outlook messages without having to click the tab on my work PC (lazy I know). The phone slips in and out of the dock with no fumbling and I just ordered a new one to replace my alarm clock at home.
