5.0 out of 5 stars OEM Battery at a Great Price!
I was surprised to discover that this bettery was difficult to find. Batteries Plus had it, but it was very expensive. I was very happy to find it on Amazon at a reasonable price. The battery seems to be fresh and is working well in my cell phone.

The first thing I'll mention is the blatant lie in the product description. Unless Motorola has started packaging their batteries for "retail" in plain unmarked plastic bags, this item was most definitely NOT "Motorola Retail Packaged"

This review is from: Motorola BC60 Lithium-Ion Battery for the SLVR L6 & L7 (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The first thing I'll mention is the blatant lie in the product description. Unless Motorola has started packaging their batteries for "retail" in plain unmarked plastic bags, this item was most definitely NOT "Motorola Retail Packaged"

Also the battery life in both my and my wife's SLVR is now LESS than it has been with the stock BC50 battery, which is marked as a 700mah, compared to the 820 or so of the BC60.

This and the different font used on one of the warning on the new batteries themselves strongly leads me to believe that this Amazon reseller (webtreo sent us ours) is buying these from an illegal Chinese "cloner" and that Motorola has nothing to do with these batteries other than giving the forgers a target.

1.0 out of 5 stars new battery coming, November 1, 2010

After sending a bad review about defective battery, company contacted me with in 30 min.and promised to send me a new battery. This is the good part. The bad part is the customer service rep, Hillary calls my house and badgers my wife about me withdrawing my review and demands my cell phone number, which she did not give. The next day Hillary calls my cell phone (don't know how she got my number)and ask me to change my review. I am on the road and 80 miles from home and my computer and told her I will change review when I get a chance. She was rude and condesending, so here I changed my review. Can't rate the item because I have not received the new battery

I went through 2 batteries thinking that may have been a defective product but apparently battery life is short for all of them, only 48 hours without using the phone. When I asked the seller if that was the standard, his answer was that old phone do not work as good as new ones. Skip the headache and buy a new phones instead.

Bought a Motorola BC60 Lithium-Ion Battery for what I thought was a good price, but now understand why it was so cheap. The battery doesn't hold a charge very well and is totally drained after around only 20 minutes talk time. I'm disappointed but learned a lesson, you get what you pay for.

These replacement batteries last only 24 hours before they run out of juice which is worse than the battery I was replacing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Purchase of Motorola BC60 Battery from AccessoryOne, December 19, 2011

Unfortunately, it took three shipments of the battery to get one that worked. The first one only held a charge for about 4 hours. The second on indicated 'invalid battery' when I attempted to charge it. The third one charged without issue, and has been off the charger and powered on for two days with no loss in charge. I can't fault AccessoryOne, as all batteries came in what appeared to be factory sealed packages, and all were marked identically, so I believe they had to come from the manufacturer with defects. AccessoryOne responded quickly with replacements, and at the end, even though I got what I needed, insisted on giving me a credit for the purchase because they felt I wasn't 100% satisfied. I am definitely satisfied with their response; just too bad two of the batteries had issues.

I would purchase from AccessoryOne again and would recommend them to anyone.

There seems to lots of discount battery sellers on the Web. To find one that offers fresh ones (batteries have a shelf life) seems impossible. It is trial and error. This one seems to be good, lasting longer than the one supplied in the long discontinued Motorola SLVR L7 phone when it was purchased four years ago.

I ordered Two BC60 Lithium-Ion Batteries. The same battery supplied by the manufacturer of my telephone. I received one BC60 and one BC50? The BC60 would not work, the BC50 works!

I should have received what I ordered and both should have been in working condition. The BC50 works but does not hold a charge as long as the original.
