After I received the first battery, it would not hold a charge. I sent customer service an email and indicated to them of the problem. After following their instructions on how to charge the battery, the end result was the same. They then sent me another battery which wasn't much better. This one at least held a charge. The charge would only last a day(not 24 hrs) before I have to charge it again. My original battery, even after a 1 1/2 years of service gets 2 to 2 1/2 days before a recharge. I know the battery they sent me uses cells from China, whereas my original battery's cells are from Japan. I would recommend to spend a little more and get a battery with cells from Japan.

THIS BATTERY WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE AND I AM STUCK WITH MY USING OLD BATTERY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

I ws first a little leary with the price stated for these batteries. Since I paid much more at the cell phone store a while back. The batteries hold a charge very well. I use my phone a lot so, I wanted more spare batteries. I can't find a better price around for this battery.

In my case, the battery I bought has worked fine for my phone. I bought the external charger for this so I can charge batteries with something other than my phone.

I purchased an external charger New OEM Nextel Battery ONLY Charger i580 i880 ic902 i580 , i880 , ic902 , Q , KRZR K1m All BT Series Batteries to go along with this - and I'm very happy with this. The new price for this battery from the manufacturer is roughly $59.00. However, this price is far better and (for me) the battery works fine.

I'm glad I bought this battery - it saved me a lot of money and it works properly for me in my specific case.
