Don't you get a little tired of every bluetooth headset being compared to Aliph? I suppose there is a reason for that so I will get this part out of the way. Jawbone 1 was a brick on my head and no way to carry it either. Jawbone II has about 3 hr talk time and has fitment issues (just about any piece does but there is usually a work around). Anyways, they are both top shelf noise killers as long as that little thingie touches your face.

With all that said the H15 has the most amazing noise killing ability I have ever used and that would be quite a list of maybe 25 headsets or so over 4 years. My wife could not hear my radar detector (it's pretty loud, it will scare you) or door chimes or seatbelt warning (ooops) and I don't think any unit ever passed that test clean. But here is the real killer...wind...outdoors...only tested light wind so far but that would be enough to kill others. I don't test by cranking a 1000 watt stereo or putting my face in front of a chainsaw running wide open, let the lab boys at Moto do that stuff...I just use it real world and try to evaluate it. Moto has this one dialed in.

Fitment and alignment is very important for proper volume and noise cancel features. It's designed that way...It's not a ear ring, not supposed to just hang there. there are at least 10 combinations provided by Moto for fitment so play with it. I chose no ear loop using the alternate type ear bud that looks like they have 1/2 a o-ring behind them. Might not stay on my head in a boxing match but not too bad. This same solution worked for my wife too (yeah, had to buy her one). Stick it in your ear! lol Mine stays there and comfort is decent.

I love the fit of the H15 by Motorola. The mic boom lowers and operates as a ON/OFF switch as well for total ease.

Great fit with the ear loop and excellent selection of various included ear buds.

Yet where this fails is the maximum for volume means you MUST push the unit into your ear canal for your ability to hear the other party. This applied to all calls and all ear buds. The H15 simply has sub-standard volume even at maximum.

Those I was talking with said they heard little noise while I was in the car or even knew I was using a Bluetooth. That's a positive.

I had to always use one hand to push the H15 into my ear to be able to hear and one hand on the wheel of the car so it defeated the purpose of a hands-free device altogether.

Not a good choice for $129.

Verified Purchase
Lets start by saying I've purchased approx. 10 bluetooth in about a 2 year period. This Motorola H15 is the best bluetooth I've ever had PERIOD. People can actually hear me and understand me when they CAN hear me. I've never used the Jawbone, but the noice canceling feature on this headset is amazing. Everyone I've talk to since I've purchased the headset said they hear nothing in the back ground. I come through crystal clear. It also fits perfectly in my ear, its small, lightweight and I really forget I have it in my ear. I could type all day about this item, i say that cause u dont know my frustration with headset, I'm constantly on the phone and it's so frustrating when people on the other end can't hear you or understand you. I recommend this product and would give it 10 stars if I could.

One more thing, I've read other reviews and the volume issue that other people have spoke of, I've haven't notice that at all. The headset come with optional ear gels so u have to find the one that fits you. I used this headset with the Iphone and it paired quickly and easy.

Motorola's Motopure H15 is a great headset with great incoming and outgoing sound but only when I wear it in my right ear. I'm not sure if others had this "problem" but for me the outgoing sound quality suffers when I wear it in my left ear. Listeners complained about my voice fading out and I'd have to hold my head a certain way to be heard clearly. I then tried calling my home phone and muting the home phone so I could hear for myself. I heard the same thing that others were hearing, my voice would fade out when my head was turned a certain way. I moved my head and it would sound fine. I switched the headset to my right ear and listened on my home phone and it sounds great no matter which way my head is turned. So far, I haven't had any problems being heard while wearing the H15 in my right ear. No big deal to me, I'll just wear it in my right ear all the time. In my right ear, the H15 is the best bluetooth headset I've ever owned with the best noise cancellation I've experienced to date. I sat inches from TV and stereo speakers turned up quite high and the headset managed to cancel the majority of the noise. I read reviews about the incoming volume not being loud enough but I've had no problems hearing my callers with it even with TV's and music playing in the background. I use the headset 3-4 notches from maximum volume and it's still plenty loud for me. There is a slight hiss heard at maximum volume but it's not a deal breaker to me and can be corrected by just turning the headset down a few clicks. I use the headset with my unlocked Razr 2 V9 and don't have any other phones to test it with so I wasn't able to test out the multipoint feature. The headset paired quickly and easily with my phone. Once paired the headset connects and is ready to use in seconds.Read more ›
