Use this along with your existing charger (with mini-USB plug) to charge your phone and headset at the same time. I use it with my RAZR and HS820 headset. One less brick to plug in and a little less clutter.

why are so many people giving the product bad reviews? If you had read the description or went to the Motorola website to check out its stats, you would have known it only uses the mini-usb and only attaches to the AC or car chargers. It lists which headsets it works with...so again, how can you be surprised that it does not fit yours? Not all Bluetooth headsets use the same charger ends, just like the differences between phone chargers...anyone that has owned more than one phone would know that you have to check the charger connection type and that there are no universal ones. Again, do a little homework before you randomly buy something. (Yes, I agree with one of the other posters that Motorola should have a standard charger end). My point is, don't mark the product down because you did not read the description or do your homework. The product works great for what it was designed to do, match up two of their most popular products, the Razr and one of the top-of-the-line headsets, and eliminate the need for two cables. It does exactly what it should do.

I have a Cingular 2125 phone and bought a Motorola H700 headset. I thought I needed this to charge the H700 and my Cingular (mini-USB) with one charger. Not so. The H700 uses mini-USB too.

This Y-adapter will only charge a phone with mini USB and not the CE bus. So, if you have a phone that uses CE bus and a headset that uses mini USB (as I do), you are out of luck. Looks like I'm going to end up returning this item. I will post a picture how the CE bus and mini USB plugs are labeled as a confirmation of this limitation--which should have been outlined in the product description or photos.

Great product to eliminate clutter!! I can charge my RAZR v3 and my HS 850 headset at the same time, at home or in the car. One person was disappointed that using it on a PC won't charge both at the same time, but if you go to Motorolas site it says specifically that it isn't made for PC charging. Another person wondered about a y adapter for charging 2 phones (2 USB connections) and yes there is one for that too.

If it isn't on Amazon, there are tons of them on Ebay.

Seller shipped promptly. I received the cord quickly. Cord works great! the only drawback is that it fits the power cord a little too loosely for my liking. Even though it hasn't happened yet, I worry that the cord and adapter may become disconnected when I least suspect it and most need it. So far, so good though. Good product!

These Y charger adapters are the best invention yet! I can charge my phone and headset at the same time.

they sent the wrong cable first time, then quickly replaced it at no cost

I didn't want to spend the extra money on a headset that used mini-USB when I upgraded my phone, so for the small cost this was a great accessory for me.

Finally someone with a decent idea. I bought and use the product and it works exactly as advertised.
