Motorola Droid Micro USB Sync and Charging Cable

I bought these cables because the wife and I both have DROIDs. I own the original and she has the Incredible and we could both use a backup cable. Unfortunately, these cables don't play nice. One cable is a complete failure. It doesn't get read by the computers we own and doesn't charge. The other cable reads fine, but charges terribly slow. Not worth even the small amount of money spent if it doesn't work.

I needed an extra USB to Micro-USB cable to connect my Motorola Droid to my computer. This cable accomplished that, while being inexpensive at the same time.

works for both USB/data and charging. good price and it works. Thinking of getting 1 more for using at work.

I bought this cable for .01 + shipping costs. The cable is barely functional. The contacts connect and disconnect. You have to wedge the cable to get to work. This cable has found a home in my trash can. Don't buy.

My phone barely charges with this cord (in fact, my computer seems to think it's a USB 1.0 cable). It also seems to be killing my 3G randomly while connected.

Used this to replace a different USB cord and it worked great for a day, then it crapped out.

First off, just FYI - If you have any other Motorola Devices, such as blutooth earpiece for phones, then that charger/wire will fit the Droid. Almost all Motorola chargers will work.

But if you are looking for a USB wire to not only charge but to sync files with a PC, then this is a good cheap alternative.

I bought two of these in case one of them was defective. After using one of them for a couple of weeks, the plastic cap, on the end that plugs into my phone, broke, which exposed the wires and making the plug a bit difficult to use (since there is no grip). I just wrapped it up in electrical tape. That only fixed it temporarily. Eventually, when using the wire, my PC would not recognize my phone anymore, and using it with a charger (wall charger with USB female slot) did not charge my phone. Sometimes my phone would turn off because of the wire.

So I just started using the other wire I got and it's working well so far (both for charging and file management).

I bought this specifically for charging my Droid X. A few said it works, other says only for a day or so, what is my chance of getting one that works? Looking back, why am I frustrated? Because I have my hopes up and waited. I have the chance to get the more expensive ($10 - $20) but not sure it will work either or maybe it will. Lesson Learned: I got what I paid for. Dirt Cheap.

I didn't think you could mess up a USB cable. I ordered a few, and only one worked. Giving it two stars because... well... one of them worked.

You should probably avoid this.

I bought 2 of these cables to use with my HTC Inspire phone. They work as well as anyone could possibly expect (I use for charging and data transfer between the phone and my PC) and the price is so low that it is virtually free. Especially when you consider that the shipping is free.

I placed the order late in the day and 3 days later they were in my mailbox.
