This speaker works great.
P. J. Harris
The sound is clear, there is very little (but at least some) bass, and it doesn't sound tinny.

This wireless bluetooth speaker works great for listening to music on the go.

This has about the same footprint as my iPhone. It's about a fraction of it's weight. Build quality is excellent. The speaker contains a rechargeable battery and there is a clear indication of when it needs to be charged and when the charging has been completed. More on the charger and that "clear indication" in a bit.

Pairing with my iPhone was immediate right out of the box. I turned on the speaker, went to the bluetooth discover screen on my phone, it picked up the unpaired device, I entered the super-secret code number (0000), and it was done.

Sound quality is good (for this type of speaker). The sound is clear, there is very little (but at least some) bass, and it doesn't sound tinny. I bought it for playing background music on the deck and it's certainly clear enough and there's definitely enough volume for that.

The description implied and it should be clearly stated that in addition to working as a speaker this also works as a speaker phone and can also pass voice commands to the phone. In fact it works just like the Motorola S9 headset except that forward and reverse don't seem to work with my iPhone4 (and it's much more difficult to wear as a headset).

Now for the stupid decisions:

There's a very bright and annoying light that insists on flashing when music is playing. According to the (well written) manual it means there's either a call or music on standby. Near as I can tell there isn't.

The AC charger is universal (at one end); it accepts 100-240V at 50/Hz. It's the other end that I have issues with. For some reason Motorola chose to use a micro-USB connector which is far from universal. Even though it supplies 5VDC just like any other USB power supply if you lose theirs then you're out of luck.

I got this to use on the porch, and going to other places like friends and family. I run it with bb curve, the next/previous track and pause/play work, the fast forward and rewind function does not. the volume buttons work. the call funtion works as well. I was going to get the EQ 7, but the thought of removing and reinserting batteries, discouraged me. This phone has the built in battery, which you plug in and charge. On this note, the charger light next to the plug/port shows green if 70 percent charged or orange if less than 70 percent when you plug it in. My suggestion is if orange when being recharged, recharge for 2 hours. If green when being recharged, recharge for 1 hour. When you plug in the charger cord, about 4-6 seconds the light will come on orange or green. 6 hours of playback time is what I am getting. Pretty basic and gets the job done, at least for me. I am not a talkin on the phone person, so my call experience with this product is minimal, but, the little time I did use it so far, it worked fine.

Fills the room with sound that is clear and bright. Smaller than my cell phone and weighs a little less. A cinch to travel with. The bluetooth hookup isn't great for me with my Samsung Mesmerize, but I think that's the phone's doing. It's always a couple of clicks to get it connected. And, when the phone rings, I want the speaker to stop and not pretend to be a speakerphone; but that's a only one click, and not too bad. For the price and the size, and considering they run on batteries, it's a great deal. The power connection uses a micro-USB plug (same as my Samsung), and I've had no problem charging it with any other micro-USB cord connected to a USB wall charger. So, yeah, it wouldn've have been nice if the product came with two "bits": the USB cord, and a USB wall charger, but I'm happy that it's not just a completely custom "brick". The on/off button is in a truly poor location--with the speakers standing up, the power button is at the bottom. Everything else is nicely designed and intuitive to use.

This wireless bluetooth speaker works great for listening to music on the go. I sync my iPhone to it and listen to music, stream Pandora, or make phone calls. The sound is pretty good - not real "rich", but good.

the good: i have this paired with my LG Banter (UX265) it has decent mid range sound, looks nice, speaker phone works nice, very loud for something so small, has a little bit of bass but not much, the media control buttons are nice,
the bad: the highs seem really scratchy even at low volume when connecting via blue-tooth (maybe its my phone?) as it dose not do this when using the line in port, range is only about 9 feet

I ordered one of these for my brother. My cd player in my truck is horrible, so whenever he drives it he used his iPhone on the armrest in the middle. First impressions couldn't have been better! The sound was AMAZING! Not bassy, but the clarity of the sound was top notch. As far ass bass goes, it was there. Just no actual thump. I could hear bass guitars and kick drums perfectly, I just couldn't feel it lol. But the mids and highs were pristine. No other portable speaker I have used could translate a ride cymbal like these bad boys.

Now for the part where I took off 4 stars. 1 star is simply for the price. When I bought mine it was still a little high at $24 on amazon, now it's over one HUNDRED dollars?!?!? - 1 star for that easy. The other 3 stars. OK after I was blow away by the sound I decided to order one for me. Bluetooth hands free kit was worth that price alone. Before mine even arrived (free 2 day shipping from prime) the first one had died. My guess is that battery died 100%, to the point where it won't take a charge anymore. Basically we used it fine for a day, put it on the charger, then it died. I contacted the seller about it and he shipped me a new one no questions asked. That's when I got a little worried lol. Mine came in a day before my brother's replacement, they were both dead within the week. So they are 3 for 3 on dying in less than a week. At $24 I just said F it, I didn't feel like shipping em back for a refund. That would have stolen the only satisfaction left, of throwing these in the garbage. And this was about a year ago, yesterday when I got on amazon and saw these positive reviews I had to add mine. When I ordered mine I noticed negative reviews, it seems that they have all been removed somehow so I hope mine sticks and helps someone save money.
