CrystalTalk™ Promotes Call Clarity
To ensure crisp call quality in even the loudest environments, the H17 uses CrystalTalk™, Motorola's proprietary noise-cancellation technology. Utilizing dual external microphones, CrystalTalk™ adjusts audio settings based on ambient noise levels. It enhances your voice and dampens microphone feedback to push call clarity to a whole new level.

Convenient MultiPoint Technology and Voice Prompts
The H17 also features full MultiPoint technology, which allows you to simultaneously sync the headset with up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices. This means that if you have separate phones for your business and personal life, you can answer both from the same headset. Featuring universal compatibility, this headset can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled device.

For further convenience, the H17 headset periodically provides important voice prompts. An in-ear prompt will brief you on how to set up your Bluetooth connection, it will notify you when the mute function is activated, and it will also update you on remaining battery life.

Finally! A physical on/off switch! Sooo many times I've answered my phone with my headset in my pocket and having to switch the call back to the handset. The physical on/off switch works great, especially with the rapid connect. Its on and connected to the phone in like 5-8 seconds, really impressive! People say the volume controls are a little small, but they work fine for me. Mute is easy to use and automatically switches off if you switch to another call. Voice battery level notifications are useful as well, no need to decipher LED colors or flashes to figure out if it needs a charge.

Love it! Can't really find anything to complain about.

OK, first of all, I don't normally do reviews. But I have had bad luck with Bluetooth headsets and this one has impressed me right out of the box.

First of all, any other headset I've worn has caused my outer ear to ache after about 30 minutes of use... no matter how I adusted them. But this one is like not having anything in your ear at all! I bought it today, I've been wearing it for three hours straight now and I've literally forgotten it was in my ear several times. To be clear, there are two options for wearing this product. One involves a plastic loop as shown in the picture. The other, the one I'm using is a soft rubber deal that just holds it from inside your ear. Sounds weird, I know. But it is seriously comfortable.

Now that I've beat that dead horse... As I've said, I've only been using the H17 for a few hours, so take it for what it's worth, but the sound quality seems to be just about the best I've experienced in a headset for under $100. It gets freaking loud! I don't have very good hearing and I had to turn it down at least half way. As a test of the noice cancellation feature, I made a call to my daughter from my garage and spoke to her while wrapping on the trashcans. She said she could barely hear the noise I was making but could hear me just fine.

The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sound quality of the speaker is not quite as good as straight through my phone.

By the way, the fact that it turns on and off via the flip out boom is a really nice feature.

I drive a tractor trailer and they can be very noisy, this unit is the best that I have owned. It is very comfortable, on/ off button, boom and volume controls. It is very small and very lightweight, I highly recommend it, my friends can hear me clearly outside with the wind and they are very clear on my end. Buy this unit and you won't buy another one.
