This was my first bluetooth headset I tried, so I am not able to give you any comparisons. I am using this one with an HP iPAQ hw6945 PDA/Phone (Windows Mobile 5). Here is what I found:

PROS:
1. light weight
2. Cheap ( I got mine for $39 retail)
3. Good sound quality and performance
4. Uses standard mini-USB connector to charge - very easy to find and would charge even from your computer, such as laptop or desktop (mini USB cable is not included though)
5. My came with a car charger included.
6. Battery life is more then sufficient for me. I talked to my family last weekend for 4 continuous hours and felt like there was a whole lot left on the battery.

CONS:
1. Could be more comfortable to fit my ear - this one is probably specific to my ear and it may fit yours just fine. I do wish they would supply more then 2 different style ear-buds to fit multiple ears.
2. The answer button is not always easy to push and sometimes I had to press the headset hard into my ear just to get it to work. But I found another way to press it by squeezing the piece with 2 fingers, so this problem is solved for me.

I gave it 4 stars due to some minor issues I outlined earlier.
I do recommend this headset to anyone who hasn't used one in the past. To my opinion it's well worth the price I bought it for. Next time I will be looking for something much smaller :). Peace!

Here is an update to this review! After having this unit for about 2 months I had some MAJOR issues with it. First I lost one of the earbuds, since it was so loosely attached and comes off quite easy. Thankfully I had another one that came with the kit, but not too long after, that one came off too and disappeared. But the worst issue is that the ear handle, that is supposed to keep this earpiece in-place BROKE OFF right in the middle of me talking to someone while I was driving. I didn't even touch it, it just broke on it's own and guess what - you can't buy a replacement for either the ear hook or the rubber ear buds. So I ended up buying another type of a headset to replace this one and so far I am very happy with my new purchase! For those who is interested - Jabra BT2010 is the one I bought this time. If you want to check it out visit either Best Buy or Target websites. It fits my ear much better, the button is much easier to push, it has a reject call feature, which Motorola headset didn't seem to have. The Jabra one also has some minor flows to my opinion, but that's a topic for another review. Sometimes you learn by experience. Take care!

ONE MORE UPDATE!!! October 29th, 2008.

OK. The story with BT2010 wasn't very happy either, so I decided to look for another headset, since there are so many of these on the market and lot of them are also much smaller and prettier. So here I go again, looking for a headset that would meet all of my requirements:

1. It would connect easily to my phone
2. It would have an adequate sound quality
3. It would "hang" in my ear with no problem.
4. It would have a "mini-USB" port (not micro-USB)

So I went through probably 20 different headsets at different stores and a lot more on the internet and all of them had one or more drawbacks per my requirements. It was either the volume not loud enough or it would have some connectivity issues (like my Jabra BT2010 had) or it wouldn't have a mini-USB port, and since I have other devices that use mini-USB, like my digital camera, I don't have to worry about having extra cable around and I can always get it charged from my computer at work. A lot of new headsets (also digital cameras and other devices) come with either micro-USB charger or some other proprietary charger - which to me is a major drawback, since I am still a little behind on all the crazy technology updates that tend to mess other people's lifes due to compatibility issues. I prefer to explorer a well developed ground when it comes to using everyday technology, where I don't have to worry about overcoming new challenges. After all, when will these folks learn how to stick to a particular standard and let people get used to it and get comfortable with it, before they "upgrade" it to a new set of standards?
So here I go again, after all the searching I found someone selling extra hooks and rubber ear pieces on eBay for this Motorola H375. Also, I read somewhere on the internet that Motorola is sending these out for free (not sure how much of a truth is this), but I decided to give this headset another chance, and since my wife thrown the other one away, I had to buy one (this time I got H385, which is identical to H375 as far as I can tell, just a different color - mine is gray and I paid less than $15 for it on eBay, shipping included). I was also able to take the bigger rubber piece from my BT2010 and now this Motorola fits my ear really really well. I am going to crazy glue this rubber piece to the headset, so I don't loose it again. I also bought the spare ear hooks and the rubber pieces on eBay, just in-case.
So now I am all happy again, since I was able to overcome every single challenge in getting a headset that is doing what I need it too. I absolutely LOVE how easy this headset connects to my phone, comparing with the BT2010. Just press the power button and 1 second later I am good to go. The sound quality is very nice even 20 feet away from the phone (despite what other people are saying in their review - they clearly haven't tried the headsets that don't sound as good), comparing to 10 feet max I could get from my BT2010. I hope this will complete my search for a while. BTW I had a customer with an identical headset and his rubber pieces got lost as well, but he is very happy with the headset otherwise. He said he went trough about 5 different ones already and this one has been the best one so far (at least for the money). So if you want to try it - go for it, just make sure put some glue on that rubber piece, so it doesn't fall off. :)

I have tried several bluetooth headsets and they all fit horribly. I ran across this one while shopping for speakers actually and the thing that caught me was the sleek and simple style. I quickly sought a store attendant and requested to take it out of the box and try it on. To my surprise, it fit securely and I was even able to jump up and down with minimal wiggle and didn't fear it falling off nor did it give me any discomfort. It does take a few seconds to get on your ear, though. Not enough to bother me, so I wouldn't take points away for that minor inconvenience.

As for performance, it exceeded my expectations greatly. I can walk just about 30 feet away from my phone before I start having severe trouble. This is awesome because my room gets poor reception and with this headset I can set the phone by the window and go to my desk or move here and there while still being able to talk on the phone. Sound quality was excellent and I was even told by my girlfriend, to whom I speak often on the phone, that she thought the headset improved her ability to hear me.

Price! I got this headset for $40 on a military base, but I'm not sure how much it usually runs elsewhere. (In general, prices are cheaper on base.) Amazon prices seem good, so I think if you're buying from here you'll be pleased with price too.

Motorola gets high points for all the factors that mobile users - especially those of us that travel - care about.

1. Quality of build. This is a well built device - its solid and will take a beating. The ear grip stays fixed and the buttons are all well made.

2. Sound Quality. For a headset without noise cancellation, the 371 works superbly. Great incoming (speaker) and outgoing (mic) audio.

3. Usability. Very easy to use. big button for starting and stopping calls and smaller, separate buttons for volume and power.

4. Battery life. Seems to carry me for at least two good hours of talk time every day. Charges quite fast.

5. Traveler friendly. The USB charger port - built right onto the device - means I can use my Blackberry charger to charge this device. One less charger to lug around and one standard charger to use for everything.

6. Price Point. The low price point means you get excellent value and don't get outrageously upset if you lose it ;-) [Bluetooth headsets are quite easy to misplace - especially when you're on the go]

7. Lightweight. Last but not least, the device feels very comfortable and light on the ear all day long if necessary. It sits well and you almost forget its there.

In summary - this is an excellent all around headset for those of us on the go.
