This bluetooth is much more comfortable resting on the ear. Easy to make calls and receive calls. Volume buttons allow for a lot of leeway in the setting. Still working on getting the voice dial to work without disconnecting the call, but I kept the short information sheet provided with it. (I am sure it is the operator and not the unit itself). I am very pleased with my purchase. It has a longer talk time than my previous BT, much more comfortable and paired easily with my LG phone. And, I love the pink color!

I am still not sure if I am going to keep it or buy another kind. I liked it since it matches my phone perfectly.

When I call people they always have trouble hearing me and I can't always get the volume high enough to easily hear them either. If you hit any breeze at all while outside you just can't use it, I was walking backwards just to cut the breeze and it wasn't a strong wind.

What frustrates me the most is that it's kind of a pain to turn off, making it hard to switch back to my cell if I don't want to use it. I like the range it has to the phone. I can leave my phone in the dining room and answer a call from the kitchen and talk easily hands free while cooking or cleaning up.

It's very comfortable on my ear.

Not sure about all the other negative reviews; however, this wireless headset has completely changed the way I view my cell phone! I recently bought a car that has a standard transmission, not thinking about how difficult it was going to be to drive, shift & dial at the same time. 3 wks. ago I got the new Razr, and quickly followed that up with the Motorola H500. I am absolutely transformed by this little accessory! I haven't had one single dropped call. Not only that, but the quality of sound is amazing. I feel like my caller is standing in the room next to me. It's very easy to use as well as set up. It took me (maybe) 5 minutes to go through the process so my phone would recognize the device. This being the first Bluetooth I've had, I had no idea what to expect. Boy am I glad I didn't listen to the other reviewers! Having no wire, plus having the ringer ring directly into your ear is amazing! No more missed calls at the grocery store. No more trying to push the cart with only one hand cause you're holding your phone in your other hand. Ok, I'll confess I'm a mother of 4 kids aged 8-12 and anything that simplifies my life is a godsend! I spend alot of time running errands and it seems my phone is a direct extension of my hand. For all you other busy moms out there; or busy dads, students, teachers, whatever... I just can't say enough about how much I love this earpiece. Of course, last but not least, it's pink and exactly matches my Razr! One last thing not exactly having to do with the earpiece, but rather with the razr itself. I found that the razr was very smooth and slippery (for lack of a better word), but I didn't want to put it in a case and hide the color & design of the phone itself. I went to [...], and bought some protective covers for my razr. It's two pieces and they just clip onto the front & the back, this isn't a faceplate. They exactly match the phone and have all the appropriate hole cutouts etc... I bought 3 different colors even! Now, I'm less afraid of it being dented or scratched when I go to grab it out of my purse. It's more solid. So that along with my Motorola earpiece makes me one happy mom!
Decisively deserves 5 stars!

I bought this item and have been using it for a couple of days. This is my first bluetooth headset. I would have to agree that the battery life doesn't seem to be what they say. But for me that is fine. I don't really spend a whole lot of time on it. Just on the first day ya know playing with it. It has great sound quality. I have called my husband and he says that it sounds just like I was on the phone itself and I didn't have any problem hearing him. I would say the range is probably about 25 feet when you start getting sound distortion. I have to admit I had a little problem pairing it with my Sanyo Katana, but that was kind of my fault didn't have the phone's book when I was doing it. Not having the book and this being my first headset I think was more of the problem then actually pairing. It probably took me 15 minutes. I would definately recommend this, as a matter of fact I will be purchasing another one for my husband. Not pink of course but the same model. One thing I wish that is came with was a car charger in case it dies when you are on the road. I gave this 4 stars because it maybe smaller in price but not quality.

The quality of this headset is so poor that I returned it. When I used the headset the people on the receiving end said I sounded like I was in a tunnel or souned like I was far away.

I received my H500 a little over a week ago and all I can say is I LOVE IT! I'm no techie, but I got it paired with my RAZR in a flash--with no problems. This little number has great clarity of sound--both incoming as well as outgoing. I haven't noticed any echoes at all. I've never dropped a call because of the headset and I wear it constantly around my house. It's fantastically lightweight and super comfortable to wear. Plus, being pink, its not nearly as obvious as the black or blue versions. For the price I think this is an awesome piece of equipment and would recommend it to anyone!

First of all I just want to say, this low cost Bluetooth headset is a great value. There are a lot of Bluetooth heasets to choose from on the market today. Many are more stylish and have more bells and whistles, but for under $30.00 this headset is one of the best values out there. This pink version is very cute and offers a perfect color match for the Versizon V3 series Motorola Pink Razr. However, I believe the gentle pink color is the only stylish element of this headset. Take away the pink and you are left with a very generic looking earpiece.

Now lets talk about performance. The H500 couldn't be eaiser to use. It paired with my daughter's Verizon Motorola Pink Razr in just seconds, and the button configuration of this unit makes perfect sense. The buttons have gentle action yet offer a satisfying "click" feel when pushing them; not mushy feeling at all. The sound quality of the speaker is quite good but not acceptional. The voice quality of the microphone is very impressive. When I am on the phone with my daughter, she actually sounds much better with this headset than when using the Razr phone alone. It does tend to pickup a great deal of background noise though, so it may not be the best in noisey environments. The H500 sits in a very stable manner on my daughters ear. The ear hook is soft and flexible and can be worn for extended periods without discomfort. It does not look or feel as if it will fall off your ear even when tipping your head.

I am giving this headset a full 5 stars. I do not rate the H500 so highly for its outstanding style, but rather for its simple functionality, solid performance, great build quality and overall value for the money. You just can't get a better Bluetooth headset for under $30.00! I highly recommend this headset for any woman that is looking for a cute color match to her Verizon Moto Razr, while also seeking a comfortable fit and impressive performance. There may be better looking headsets out there, but you'll likely suffer penalties in cost and/or performance.

I am one of those people that hate to have to open my phone every time I want to either answer a call or make a call and this is definitely the answer to a prayer!! This Bluetooth Headset has made it possible to make and answer calls no matter where I am or what I am doing. If you are in the car this is especially great because making a call or answering a call is by touch of a button and voice recognition.

The coolest thing since sliced bread; and I recommend it greatly!!

I think Motorola made a terrible mistake about this headset. The receiving quality is not bad, but the internal microphone really sucks!! When I use this headset, people on the other side always complain that my voice is so small and muffled that they can hardly hear me. The only thing I like about this headset is its design which has nothing to do with the call quality. If you prefer to annoy others with your voice, this will be the one for you. Otherwise, go Plantronics or Logitech!!

I'm not sure why the other reviewers are having the sound problem they are, but I've had no such problems with mine. It fits comfortably, and while I'm driving, I can both hear and be heard just fine. I've never had anyone tell me they were having trouble hearing me; maybe it's just a matter of making sure it fits snugly against your head and adjusting the volume appropriately.

At any rate, I'm definitely thrilled to finally have a Bluetooth headset, and even more so that it matches my pink RAZR!
