4.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, June 29, 2008

This review is from: Motorola H721 Bluetooth Wireless Headset (Electronics)
I purchased this particular headset because I do not like ear plugs. This unit has a flat panel that rests against your ear. The noise cancellation feature works great. I can hear the phone conversation loud and clear. People tell me that they can hear me just fine, too. The only downside is that it needs to be charged frequently, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I recommend this product (and I'm very particular).

3.0 out of 5 stars Noise Cancellation Needs a LOT of Improvement, July 8, 2009
This review is from: Motorola H721 Bluetooth Wireless Headset (Electronics)
I recently purchased this earpiece for my fiance. She likes the earpiece and I can hear her very clearly on it. However there is a huge problem with the device. It has automatic noise cancellation and it is supposed to increase the volume automatically depending on the amount of background noise. When she is talking to me and opens her fridge or turns on her sink or throws away a piece of paper the earpiece amplifies the background noise so much that it sounds like it is going to blow out my eardrum. Instead of cancelling the background noise it amplifies it louder than her voice.

5.0 out of 5 stars beyond convenient, February 28, 2009

This is the second one of these I bought, after I sent the first one through the laundry (tip: not waterproof!). The fact that this will bind to 2 phones at the same time is why I bought it, and it didn't disappoint. Once paired, if either phone rings, that one "grabs" the connection to the H721, so pushing the button answers the right phone. This is just what I needed, since I have to carry 2 phones... one that's mine, and one for work. Calls are clear, and it's very comfortable. I wouldn't go jumping around or jogging while wearing it, but for normal walking and office time, it's secure enough. The only downside is for dialing when bound to 2 phones, it defaults to dialing the first phone paired if you initiate from the headset. If you use the handset to dial, it's no problem. Basically, whichever phone needs attention at the moment gets it.
