Long lasting and good sound quality,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've been having it for weeks. It works fine when both listening to music and talking via Skype. The mic pick up my voice quite well even with that small hole away from mouth. Once fully charged, it lasts a long time when using it for stereo music streaming.
Pros: Sound quality is great, as being a bluetooth headphone. Battery lasts long enough. The microphone does pick up sound perfectly. Cons: Feel a little pinched above ears after wearing it for a while. It would be great if the belt is expandable.

This technology just isn't there yet,
By CON: As someone else pointed out, you do look pretty silly wearing these things. They're very wide on your head, and you look like some kind of space alien. Also, I've had an odd problem with my enV: depending on the orientation of my head and the phone (usually turning my head to the right and having the phone in my right pocket) the sound will cut out. This is extremely annoying when running or riding my bike and having to look to the side. If I keep my phone in my left pocket, the audio occasionally cuts out no matter what I do. I don't know if this happens with all phones or not, but it is quite annoying. Also, the padded covers for the earphones have a tendancy to fall out when you're not wearing the headphones. OVERALL: I feel they just haven't got there yet with this model. It needs to be smaller and less silly looking, and it needs to "just work". It's unacceptable to pay so much for a pair of headphones and have them not work as well as wired headphones for the tasks you'll be using them for (running, biking, etc..). In retrospect, I wish I had held out for a better model.

Love it. Works over a greater extended range than normal bluetooth sets, probably 50+ feet unobstructived. I would buy this unit again!

I've been wearing them around for a few days now, and after the inital "head squeze" feeling there quite comfortable. They sound great paired with my razr, voice quality is good. No luck yet finding a transmitter for my zune to play music. Don't bother buying the Jensen Universal Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter. It dosen't work and won't pair with these. My only con is ther a little tight, and tent to hit the back of my neck if I look up much.

Headphones have come a long way. Before if you would want great sound from headphones your only option was big, bulky and thick wired. Those days are long gone thank goodness! Now we have wireless Bluetooth knowledge incorporated in headphone technology that even accepts phone calls. The main problems that people are pertaining about are the inconvenience of the way they fit, feel and look. Either ears are getting pinched, or the look with them on is peculiar, or something else. Although I'll admit to agree with a few of those claims- and if you can get by those small problems what you get in return is an outstanding set of quality sounding Bluetooth headphones. Yes, they are just a bit uneasy to the fit around the ears, and a bit odd looking when placed on. But on the plus side the advantages are there to. Examples are: great sound, long lasting charge, wireless, phone answering also, additional controls for song choosing, volume control, etc. are on the headset itself. When all is said and done, isn't that all you're really looking for? I consider myself a very picky buyer that pays attention to detail. I'm very happy with my set. I recommend this headset.

excellent headset,

i got one of this first, and tested on Samsung Upstage cellphone, it was great, so I ordered another one for my Samsung Blackjack and the ATT Tilt,it does what it claims to do, loving every minute of it. I even took to Myrtle Beach listening to music while on the beach.
the downside, it 'wears' your ear, and after an hour of using it, your ears gets a bit uneasy with it...

See my feature ratings: good battery, bad audio. Since these headsets are large and expensive (and stereo) I rated them for audio quality. I cannot imagine listening to music through these. If they are just for phone...buy something that fits in one ear.

Economical Bluetooth,

Descent product. Works well indoors with minimal interruptions.
Outdoors they 're sketchy though. Cushion for ears is nice. I wear these for 5-7 hours a day, and its nice that they don't cut into the top of my ears. I tried a dfferent brand and that actually happened. Ultimately, a good buy for the price.

good for mid 2008, not anymore,

I bought this in august 2008 and have been using it off and on for a year. overall its not a bad headset:
The good: -Stereo -Can connect to 2 different devices at once (ie. computer for music and phone for headset) -sound quality (only on music/A2DP connection - headset 'mode' is more iffy) -can use a 2.5mm cable for audio and internal amp to boost volume -uses standard usb connection to charge battery -worked fine for gaming headset The ok: -range -lots of buttons, takes a while to get used to -removable/replaceable earphone pads (but i cant find where to buy replacements) -mic works fine in quiet environment, but get any wind or noise its hard to the other person to hear the bad: -battery wont hold a charge anymore (less than 12 months old) -price (i bought for $30 in aug 2008, looks like its $60 in july 09...) -fit (confortable for about half an hour then it cuts into the top of my ears) If it was still aug 08 and still $30, i would recommend it... but a year later and 2x the price i think you need to find another stereo headset. |
