This review is from: Motorola Li-Ion Battery for Motorola C290, C975, C980, E1000, K1m, V190, V195, V197, V235, V323, V323i, V325, V360, V365, V975, and V980 - Black (Wireless Phone Accessory)
What I ordered was a brand new battery. What I received was an old used battery that did not hold a charge, wrapped in a bag to make it look new.Do these guys think their fooling somebody??? The item WAS NOT in the manufacturer packaging. The item had black oxidized marks on the electrical contacts, indicating that it had been pulled from an old phone. Don't even waste your time, buy somewhere else.

Well, mostly because it was new. You forget how long a fresh battery keeps your cell phone going, because they diminish in capacity over time very slowly. But you put in a new battery and BAM, its lasting like all week. I recommend new batteries, just be sure to properly dispose of the old one because dead batteries in the land fill are toxic and dangerous.

My phone's original battery lasted nearly two years. This replacement one has lasted about 10 months. I don't know if replacement batteries simply don't last as long as original ones, or if quality has started going downhill, or what, but I would have expected more life out of this one.

I received a BT51 instead of the listed BT50.... Think twice about this order and make sure your cell can run off of the BT51 just in case....

I have owned this battery for about a month, and it will no longer hold a charge. Cheaper doesn't always mean a better deal. It is junk and you get what you pay for. Do not buy this battery!

Deceitful - Used "New" Battery,

I bought this "new" battery from the OEM Shop through Amazon. It wasn't new. Right out the package you could see the wear marks on the contacts. I accepted the fact that for the price, even though marketed as "new," I was probably getting what I paid for. However, even at that it lost a bar from a full charge after only a few hours with an idle phone. I threw it away and re-installed my old battery. Thank goodness I had yet to discard it. I would recommend if you want the real deal that you avoid being mislead by the low price. I explained the situation to OEM through Amazon and they offered me a refund (without a return) which I accepted.
