Good phone but I suggest you shop around
I wanted a simple phone with digital answering machine to take the place of voice mail. This phone is simple and it does seem to work well enough (unlike some of the reviews of other phones I read about). But, I saw it advertised on sale elsewhere for considerably less than what I paid for it here. I gave it 4 stars because, as I said, it does the job. I would just...

answering machine is useless
The answering machine is so muffled that I can't understand the majority of most messages left on the machine. Major disappointment. Battery died pretty quickly on the handset too because I left it on the hook for a month. Careful of that.

I wanted a simple phone with digital answering machine to take the place of voice mail. This phone is simple and it does seem to work well enough (unlike some of the reviews of other phones I read about). But, I saw it advertised on sale elsewhere for considerably less than what I paid for it here. I gave it 4 stars because, as I said, it does the job. I would just recommend checking your local department store first.
