The Motorola MH230TPR pack is exactly what is advertised. The radios work great and have considerable coverage. Used in a urban setting so the range is limited by surrounding structures. The Price was great and delivery was exceptional.

I purchased these walkies so our group of 6 could keep in touch during a 7 day cruise. They did not dissapoint. We never had any problems with interference or static. One day, we were off the ship,about 6 miles from port and the walkies actually worked getting in touch with our group still on the ship! We were impressed! We look forward to using them for this upcoming ski season

Awesome product. I didnt even know they came with 3 ear pieces. They were a little sensitive to wind but all in all it was a great deal. i can hear everyone clearly and they were very small and light weight. I highly recommend.

This a great set of walkie talkies....my son and his friends love playing with then in the woods. So far they seem to get great range, but i haven't really tested the range all that much. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

it is a very good product. it is very easy to use. very good quality, reliable. we like it very much.

I had tried Midland, Audiovox walkie talkie - they are all junks, all don't last for long.

This package contains 3 units and 1 charger.

We take them to bicycling riding, hiking, throwing them around and they are tough.

Transmission range is comparable with other units.

We like it most for durability

I'll go the pro/con route:

PROS:

1) Fairly compact.
2) Charge via mini-USB or the base charger.
3) Perfect for a 3-man team.
4) Included belt clips and ear pieces.
5) Uses included rechargeable or AAA disposable batteries.

CONS:

1) Batteries are Ni-Cad, meaning they'll easily develop a memory if charged before fully drained. Not ideal for this application.
2) Working in a large building complex, they didn't reach even the minimum quoted suburban range (at least in certain rooms), but they work 96% of the time and still make life easier.
3) Base charger should charge 3 simultaneously.
4) Inverter for base charger is 120V only; I fried mine on the first use, assuming - like most electronics - it would accept 240V/50Hz. Thankfully, can still charge via mini-USB.

It's a good set that definitely serves its purpose in many instances, but you can see where they cut costs. I still consider it a good buy under most circumstances.

This product worked out great. I bought two 3 packs and we used them during a performance to communicate with each other. They worked okay but was sometimes hard to hear over the music playing. However, these radios made our production a success. All my groups were able to stay in constant communication stage manager, lights, sound, costume, quick change, props, etc....The show was amazing. I only gave 4 stars because it only has the ability to charge 2 radios at a time but there are 3 radios.

As this is a Christmas present, all I have done so far is receive it. The product was delivered as promised, on time, and seems to be exactly what was described. I am in the process of charging the batteries on the walkie talkies, I look forward to many happy converstions with my grandchildren on them. I have purchased this particular brand before, but not this model. The previous ones were stolen, so when it came time to replace them I knew exactly which brand I wanted. I would have given 5 stars, due to shipping,arrival, product description, and actual product, however since they are still charging, felt I shouldn't.
