A nice attachment feature are the small metal bars on each side of the screen.

I bought these for the bluetooth capability, but found out that vox doesn't work with it, so not what I wanted really.

Don't kid yourself - you will never see anything near 22 mile range from these radios.

We use two way radios for mountain biking. Because I'm hearing impaired, and can't use my hearing aids while riding, it's been frustrating because the poor sound quality of all the radios we've had in the past made it hard for me to understand what was being said even when I held the radio right up to my ear. I tried wired ear buds but the wires were always getting in the way and the sound quality was still poor. We got these because of the Bluetooth feature in hopes that using a Bluetooth device would make it easier for me to understand speech. On our first ride, we attached the radios to our handlebars. Even without the Bluetooth, I could clearly understand what was being said without having to remove the radio from the handlebars. I probably won't need to use a Bluetooth device although it's nice to have that option. We also transmitted without removing the radios from the handlebars. Even without bending over the radios picked up our speech without a problem. These radios are slightly bigger and heavier than the cheaper talkabouts. They come with the usual belt clip. A nice attachment feature are the small metal bars on each side of the screen. These allow you to attach the radio to pretty much anything using whatever kind of strap works best for you.

Don't kid yourself - you will never see anything near 22 mile range from these radios. Perhaps if you are in a weather balloon 22 miles up, or are on the surface of the moon - but on this planet, if you realistically get a mile range, then consider your situation fortunate. What you are buying is a $25 pair of FRS/GMRS radios that will pair up to a Bluetooth headset and that convenience will cost you $100. The radios are unnecessarily large. We sell commercial Kenwood and Blackbox two-way radios that are smaller, more rugged and much more capable, other than the Bluetooth feature.

We've paired these MU350R's to Sena SMH5 and SMH10 motorcycle BT headsets and they work fine. These headsets use the Bluetooth headset profile (HSP).

These radios are not manufactured by Motorola, but the name is licensed and they're made in China. If you're not planning to use the Bluetooth feature of these radios, save yourself some dough and buy something just as capable for a lot less $.

I bought these for the bluetooth capability, but found out that vox doesn't work with it, so not what I wanted really. But, the radios are still very good. The batter life is wonderful and the reception is decent. Having the flashlight has also come in handy along with the dual channel monitor that it supports.

Delivery of these radios was very quick. My setup is Scala rider G4 Bluetooth communications system, Garmin 550 GPS and Samsung S4 phone. Have been using the GPS and phone with the Scala rider for years. When I tried to add the MU350R to the mix I had problems getting everyone to work together. The GPS is paired to the Scala rider and the phone is paired to the GPS as per the instructions for the Scala rider. When I tried to pair the MU350R to the Scala rider the GPS would disconnect. It seams that MU350R and the GPS pair to the Scala rider using the same profile and will not work together. Tried to pair the MU350R to the GPS but it would not recognize the device. Guess I will have to live with one or the other working. one other issue was with the scala rider I have to setup the MU350R to use IVOX because there is no push to talk button available. Well there is a Bluetooth PTT available but the cost is greater than the MU350R itself. In IVOX mode it takes about 3 seconds for the MU350R to start transmitting. Something I guess I have to get used to.
