This is not the cable pictured and described, I subtracted one star for accuracy because when ordering through Amazon the picture and description are the objective pieces of information available when deciding to make a purchase. Reviews are subjective and open to interpretation so the star I subtracted is for the inaccuracies in the photo and description of this product not the product's performance.

I ordered and received a USB Data cable with no recognizible brand name although the box is labelled USB Data Cable Mobile Accessories and has a logo that reads Certified Hi-Speed USB. There was no Morotola name/logo on the box, software CD or cable itself; every other Motorola phone accessory I have purchased has their name and logo displayed prominently on the package and stamped into the accessory.

That being said this product works great and it does what I need it to do. I plugged it in and had no problems using it with my Razr V3. So although the authenticity of this product was ultimately not an issue for me, it may be for someone else who is considering this product.

As mentioned above it came with software although I have XP and Motorola Phone Tools by Avanquest and it works fine with this combination of operating system and software.

So in short the cable, while not the one pictured or a Motorola product, works and the price was right.

This cable both charges the phone and lets you sync at the same time. Nothing bad to say about it.

I bought this for my cousin who needed a mini usb for her PSP. Although it says for the Razr, it's good for any device that needs a mini usb data cable and you can transer music, videos and even word documents. It can also be used to charge a cell phone.

It didn't work with my motorola phone, but they refunded, so that's cool.

i ordered a motorola Q phone from another and the charger would no longer charge my phone. That was a problem and I was wanting to sync my phone to my computer. I searched amazon and the cable was the perfect price. It came in about 3 days and it's been doing the job it's supposed to do.

I purchased this cable in the hopes that it would transfer data (since it's a data cable...) off of my old RazR. However, all it would do once hooked up to the computer was charge. So now I have another cable that doesn't fit anything else I have. :(

fits and connects handset to usb port on computer - haven't figured out yet how to determine if changes the handset but it probably does

I thought this would be a way to retrieve the pictures from my new Motorola cellphone.. Annoyingly it is not. However it does make use of the USB port on my pc to charge the phone.


It arrived on time in good condition.
