I really wanted to like this unit but....,

This review is from: Motorola Miniblue H9 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The good: It plants pretty far into the ear. The plus sides are it's a snug fit (you won't have to worry about it falling out with normal usage), you can hear very well, it's very small and light.
The bad: Since it's so small you can lose it very easily. That's no fault of motorola, but something you should be aware of. Now the major bad... this picks up all kinds of background noise, whether it's there or not. If you're in a crowded room then forget it. However even if you're in a quiet room, then there's all kinds of background noise such as buzzing and what not. I'm not sure how the headset is picking up sound and I don't care. It's picking up extra sound, even if it isn't there. This is for you if you don't want to have conversations and are only checking voicemail. Otherwise.....

Good Cool Factor - But Revising My Rating,

This review is from: Motorola Miniblue H9 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I originally gave this 4 stars, mainly due to the looks and unique style. After wearing it for about a week, and continually being told that my voice sounded muffled, plus the wearing discomfort that I just couldn't get used to, I returned the H9 for a refund today. It is cool looking, but if you use your bluetooth for hours a day as I do, it's just not practical, maybe 2 stars......Original review follows***** I bought this mostly to make one of my co-workers envious, and should do the trick, as this is one of the most unique looking bluetooth headsets on the market. The fact that it picks up your voice through the ear canal is pretty neat, and seems to cut down on ambient noise. The portion that fits in the ear is slightly curved so you may need to rotate the external part to get the best fit. Mine fits best with the "M" facing sideways. My biggest complaint is once you achieve the seal recommended in the instructions, it feels sort of like you have your finger stuck in your ear, but I seem to be getting accustomed to it. All in all, not the most comfortable I've ever used (and I've used a lot), but tolerable, and one of the best performers, and least noticeable.

Great sound and comfort, but short talk time.,
By DJ "DJ" (Georgetown, TX) - See all my reviews The description online says up to 7 hours or so, but what it didn't state in detail is that it lasts that long only by using it with the charger. I was on a call for 1.5 hours and it started to die on me. I checked some other website and they do say that the earpiece lasts 1.5 hours and can be used for up to 7 hours with the charger. If I'm on a call for longer than 1.5 hours or have used it before a long call, it will not last. What is the point of having a handsfree headset if you need to switch to your phone, while you recharge the headset? I'll know better when I go to return this headset for one with a longer, continuous talk time. The talk time is my only complaint. I would love this headset if it had a talk time of at least 4 continuous hours.
