This software (MPT 5.0) is garbage! Spent hours trying to get it to sync up with my Motorola W490 only to have it either tell me that the phone is not supported (listed that it is) OR that the phone is busy, try again later. I re-installed several times, updated VISTA, the drivers, the software. Nothing. The F.A.Q. section of support site is buggy and only displays 1/3 of the listed pages. Talking to support in India is a lesson in futility. I am so sorry that I wasted my time and money. Save yourself the headache, don't buy this. Did a trial version of SyncCell today, and presto - first time, no problems.

Although it clames to work with a razor Vx it doesn't recognize the phone and therefor doesn't work. Contacted the seller and never heard anything from them.

I thought this software would be the answer to my problem of a jam packed flash card in my phone. I'm very disappointed and feel quite duped. The software is simple to install and it worked -in the ways I didn't need or want. It backed-up my phone just fine on the computer but I wasn't looking for that application. I don't need my contacts backed up on my computer. Verizon does that for me. I purchased this software with the SOLE purpose of managing multimedia on my phone. I have a moto z6c, which I love, but it's become packed with photos and vids. I was also very much looking forward to using some of my own music files for ringtones. NONE of this was possible with my phone although it was purported to be supported by this software on the motorola site. After installing software and backing up the phone I searched for the multimedia center, resorted to help and "support FAQ's" and found that my phone is not compatible with the multimedia portion of the software applications. Of course, Motorola can say my phone is supported by the software and I suppose they are not misleading in saying that because the back-up portion of the software does work with my phone BUT THE MULTIMEDIA CENTER IS NOT AVAILABLE for my phone. I'm VERY VERY glad I did not purchase phone tools from Motorola since it costs 50 dollars on their website. At least it was only 20 dollars at Amazon. Still, a waste of every penny. This software does not do what I wanted it to. Motorola is very very sly in claiming this software works for most phones. That's only true if you don't expect much from Phone Tools....

Also, as an aside, when I received this software from the Amazon seller it was clearly used although I purchased a "new" product. Box was opened and software and instruction pamphlets used as well. Clearly someone else had made the same discovery I made and decided to return the software. I'll be contacting Amazon about my right to return as well...
