Bought for my KRZR phone pretty much plug and play, allows me to buy any off the shelf headset with the std. 3.5mm plug. The sound quality is good but just as a word of warning you can't answer calls unless you unplug the unit first.

As far as sound goes, the Motorola 3.5mm headset adapter does not assist or hinder the quality of your music. Which is great, because that is one less thing you now have to worry about. It simplifies the equation to two things: your device and headset. My only qualm would be between the plug for the 3.55mm jack and the adapter piece is a thin, flimsy wire that feels like it may snap with a good tug. Considering the adapter, however, can be bought at a measly $5, I still give it 5 stars.

I figured I would give it a shot since this was so much cheaper then GoPro's official adapter but it will not work. This one has a circuit board inside that does something for phone use. I think for the GoPro you may only need direct connection. If you know the pinout you could probably modify this and bypass the circuit board but it will not work out of the box.

Found this product after Alltel & RadioShack told me no such adapter was available! Bought it for use with my new Razr v3m - works great - stereo sound AND my favorite headphones. As stated in another review, you DO have to unplug to answer a call however.

I have been looking for over a year to find an adapter that would work with my Verizon Wireless V3m RAZR and standard earbud headphones. The Motorola earbuds--the "Frankenstein" set--sound terrible and broke after a few weeks. I have tried 3 other adapters and none of them have worked.

This adapter works (in stereo, I might add), sounds good, and arrived quickly and as advertised from Eforcity. FINALLY, I can listen to music or watch movies on the go without having to buy and carry around an iPod.

This is a great accessory for anyone with a Motorola phone that multifunctions as a MP3 player. This converts the sound from the phone perfectly. My phone is now the best MP3 player I have ever heard, funny since its primary function is a cell phone. The bass is lacking a little bit (a very minor bit), but this is a common problem that plagues MP3 players and earbud headphones. Overall a great product that doesn't distort the audio.

Not quite as pictured, (it looks the 2.5 emu instead), but it works great. I use this with my car stereo and i love it. When you take a call you have to unplug it, because the phone thinks it had the wired headset plugged it (which has a built in mic). This does not have a mic built in.

Works as expected on my Krzr k1m. Have tried multiple earphones and plugged it into home stereo and car tape adapter without fail. Should have come with the phone though.
