Make sure this fits your phone!,

This review is from: Motorola Plug-In Hands Free Speakerphone for V Series Phones and T720i (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The illustration for this produce is not clear enought to allow you to clearly see which Motorola phones it fits. There is apparently a version for the Startac series AND a version for the V-120C (and similar). This review applies to the V series. This is an extremely useful product. The receive audio is excellent. I get very good transmit audio reports with the built-in microphone. I get better transmit audio reports with a microphone pluged into the unit and positioned closed to my mouth. Motorola makes an optional microphone for this purpose. It works quite well and can be positioned nearly anywhere near you. I put mine over the driver's sun visor. I can ignore the whole thing unless I get or make a call, or remove the phone and take with me. If you are undecided as to whether to buy a handfree unit, DO IT. The increase in safety from simply having both hands on the steering wheel pays for the unit (and maybe your car and body). With the V-120C and its voice dial capabilities, all you have to do is press one button to make a (voice dialed) call. If you set the "answer with any button" or "auto answer on second ring" options you have to do nothing more than press one button (or wait for auto answer) to receive a call. Keep the unit pluged into the power socket and simply plug in your phone when you get in the car. Very easy, and you can move it from car to car (including rental cars). It works. It's safe. It's cool. Mostly, it's safe. RECOMMENDED!

Get the Motorola Speakerphone for In Car Use,

I love this gadget because it plugs right into the base of the phone and I use it mostly when I'm driving. I velcro my phone to the side of my dashboard and when I call or answer the phone on my Motorola phone all I have to do is press one button. I hate the headsets because it's annoying to have something in my ear all the time.

Small powerful product but not while you are driving,

This is product is really cool. Audio quality is good but it didn't work very well while I was driving. Also hooking this unit to the phone is also bit tough. I couldn't feel/hear the snap sound when it latches with the phone. I wish there is a better way to hook this to the phone.
