Amazon.com Product Description

Crafted with eye-catching metals and sporting a supremely slim form, the stone-grey MOTORAZR V3m cell phone backs up its revolutionary style with an advanced feature set that's bound to impress. The phone is fully loaded with an arsenal of digital tools, including a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth connectivity for using wireless hands hands-free headsets, microSD memory card expansion, a digital audio player, and video capture and playback. As a result, you'll enjoy the ultimate in mobile connectivity and style with a RAZR V3m in your hand or pocket.

The RAZR V3m's super-slim body holds a 1.3-megapixel digital camera and microSD expansion slot.

Sprint Service Options
Supporting the EV-DO high-speed data standard, the RAZR V3m is fully compatible with Sprint's Power Vision service (additional charges applicable). With Power Vision, you can download songs, video clips, and other multimedia entertainment from a host of different sources, including CNN, the Weather Channel, NFL Mobile, and more. Where coverage is available, EV-DO connectivity provides download speeds ranging from 400 to 700 Kbps. The Sprint Music Store, meanwhile, lets you buy, download, and them jam out wherever you are with new songs or old favorites. Offering a growing selection of more than 1.6 million songs, the store gives you two copies of each song--one for the phone and another for the PC--as well as the ability to burn songs to a CD using Windows Media Player.

The stone grey phone is made of fully anodized aluminum.
Users can also shoot and share their digital photos and short video clips instantly via Sprint PCS Picture Mail, then either store the pictures and videos on their memory cards or send them from their phones to e-mail addresses or other compatible phones. Sprint's Picture Mail website also lets you crop pictures, organize your own albums, share your pictures and videos, order prints, and more. Finally, Sprint Radio offers more than 30 channels of both music and talk radio, from hip-hop to Latin pop to NPR.

Design
The RAZR V3m's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully anodized aluminum construction. A large 176 x 220 color display with 65,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover. The outside cover of the handset, meanwhile, sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can show caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery, signal strength, and more. The 1.3-megapixel camera lens is housed above this display, while up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control.

Most of the phone's features and onscreen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. The RAZR V3m also boasts 30 MB of embedded memory for storing pictures, videos, and downloaded Power Vision content, plus you can expand your storage space with the phone's microSD memory card slot. Note that the phone does not include a 2.5 mm headset jack, but does include a headset adapter in the box, along with a charging port and USB data cable port.

Calling Features
The RAZR V3m's internal phone book can hold up to 1,000 contacts, while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones and MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls (a number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone and more ringtones can be downloaded from Sprint's ringtone service). Other calling features include a vibrating alert for when you want to be discreet; a built-in speakerphone; voice-activated dialing that makes it possible to call your friends, family, and associates by simply saying their names; and compatibility with Bluetooth wireless headsets for complete hands-free operation.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
The RAZR V3m is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. The phone includes built-in support for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound, and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. There's also a built-in web browser for Sprint downloads and mobile web browsing, or you can turn to Sprint's SMS text message and instant messenger options to stay connected. And it's a breeze to read your e-mail and multimedia attachments thanks to the RAZR V3m POP3 e-mail support.

Imaging and Extras
The RAZR V3m's 1.3-megapixel camera bridges the gap between phones and quality digital cameras, with the ability to capture video in addition to offering night and self-timer functions. In addition, the phone offers embedded animated screensavers and full-screen wallpapers, letting you set up the RAZR V3m to suit your tastes. Finally, a number of handy software tools are bundled with the RAZR V3m, including a voice memo recorder, a calculator with currency converter, a calendar, and an alarm clock. The phone supports the SyncML PC synchronization standard, which can be used with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools PC application to manage and synchronize contacts, calendar, and other data with your PC.

The Motorola RAZR V3m measures 2.1 by 3.9 by 0.57 inches (W x H x D), weighs 3.5 ounces, and includes a lithium-ion batty that's rated for up to 3.33 hours of digital talk time and up to 325 hours of digital standby time. 4.0 out of 5 stars Stay away. (Can't change Rating), June 29, 2008
By
This review is from: Motorola RAZR V3m Phone, Stone Grey (Sprint) (Wireless Phone)
When my family switched from AT&T to Sprint (big mistake on its own), the free phones at the dealer just happened to be the Motorola RAZR V3M.
For about 6 months, I had my RAZR and it was OK for about 3 of them. Occasionally, it froze, but it wasn't too bad of a problem. The last three months I had this phone, it froze up about once or twice a day. Finally, I decided to hop onto ebay and bought myself two broken LG Rumors and worked my magic to form 1 working Rumor.

STAY AWAY FROM THE RAZR!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Worse battery, December 18, 2009
This review is from: Motorola RAZR V3m Phone, Stone Grey (Sprint) (Wireless Phone)
This is my second Razr phone (had a red one also) and both phones had the same problem. When charging it would switch from connected to disconnected on and off. A new battery would last for a couple of days then if you charge at around 10pm and take it off at 8am the next day by 7pm the red battery signal would appear. I tried many batteries and many chargers. The phone looks great, doesn't scratch but the inside is a piece of junk.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good phone but Pricy, February 16, 2009
This review is from: Motorola RAZR V3m Phone, Stone Grey (Sprint) (Wireless Phone)
I had a Razor for about 18 months and it died. Nw they want hundreds for me to replace it. I only have a few mnths left on the "plan". I went and bought a Virgin Mobil phone for $10 and is workable for the money. and the fact there isn't a "plan" to join make this a smart move I should have done a long time ago - take the plans and stuff it!
Sure the Razor is great phone but who wants to spend $250+ for a phone that is too easy to get lost, stolen, broken etc.. If my new phone goes - I'm looking at a $10.05 replacement. Sprint an keep their phones - free is not free when you have to contract for 2 years. Virgin Mobil is great for people like me who only make a few calls a week.
