My "Treo" after close to 3 years of continued use finally started going out. Since I'm not on the road any longer and just need a decent phone. So I checked the reviews and bought this little baby. I do travel out of the country every year and not wanting to be locked in I wanted unlocked model. Smooth connection with my provider and the features work except for the web, no great loss there for me though.

All in All it's a very nice phone except the battery cover doesn't snap on correctly, pretty cheap really. Shipping it back really isn't worth the cost or effort so I'll eat it. I'll look for a replacement cover and replace it.

Other than than I do like the phone, works great, clear connection. The iTunes I have no use for, never thought sucking up your power listening to DRM infested iTunes on a phone made since. I've got a slick mp3 player by Cowon (thank you Amazon) that is wonderful.

All in all I'd give the phone 4-5 stars if it wasn't for the battery cover.

This is a sold by "Amazon", and at the time it was not disclosed that the warranty is only for 90 days, and is not issued by Motorola. Full disclosure is now made. Also the power supply is not the US model with the folding plug, but a European version which requires an included US adapter. Fortunately, I have other Motorola power supplies and my credit card will extend my warranty, otherwise I would return it. Same phone available for less from Cingular with a longer warranty and for $20 -$25 you can get it unlocked. Otherwise this is a great phone and I bought it to replace one that was crushed by a car yet still worked except for the screen!
