IP54/55 Standard

These radios replaced a long string of consumer-oriented "disposable" radios at a commercial greenhouse/nursery. They are crystal clear at over 1/2 mile from inside a steel building. In fact, they are clear everwhere on our 70 acre property. Long battery life. Powerful speaker. Rugged construction with one exception - the plastic belt clip is unreliable. Go ahead and get the swivel holster if they are to be carried. Should have bought these years ago.

My Son and I we service sometimes large manufacturing plants repairing injection molding machinery, and tried to get away with using cell phones for comunication between places and found that cell phone is unrealible in some areas. I purchased two of these two way radios and what a difference it made for us around the plant and even in and around the job to some venders about a mile or so away. They have been great time savor and I did not cheat myself I purchased the extended service battery and have worked them 14 hours hard and no let downs and the boom mic works well with the vox feature on large machines in noisy places. We love them!

These head sets work great and from REALLY far. The only thing I don't like is the button stopped working on one of them within the first 4 days. We use the headsets so it makes no difference for us....
