4.0 out of 5 stars Great Sound, Fairly Comfortable
Overall: This product works great. I'm quite satisfied with the quality and performance. The sound quality is high.

Pros:
-I'm very satisfied with battery life. I left it on (accidentally) for 2 days on standy and I still got several hours of use out of them without a recharge.
-The sound quality is excellent.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice sound, difficult pairing
I've had these headphone for a few months. I use them with my IPOD Touch 2nd Gen and a Sony Ipod wireless adapter. They are large but comfortable. I find I am even willing to carry them when I travel to get the better sound. The one major downside is that they are difficult to pair. I also have a set of IO Gear headphones that came with a bluetooth adapter. These...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Sound, Fairly Comfortable, March 25, 2008
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)

-The noise-canceling is excellent to the point where my wife hates me having them on because I can't hear her (that could be either a pro OR con depending on how you look at it).
-Call quality is great -- both on the headphone and microphone side. People on the other end have no problems hearing me.
-If I'm listening to music via the analog jack from my sound card, and I get a call on my cell phone, the headset automatically switches over when I answer the call, and automatically switches back to the music when the call is over.

Cons:
-I have a slightly bigger head that some people I suppose, and these headphones feel tight to me. Because of this, my ears begin to get sore after about an hour of use.
-The supplied audio cable is only 2-3 feet long
-There is no analog microphone jack to use this set with non-bluetooth devices like my desktop computer. This is remedied by a cheap usb BT adapter, but would have been an easy feature for Motorola to implement.
-Battery takes about 4 hours to charge fully, and is not charged on purchase. If you buy these, be willing to wait for 4 hours once you unbox them to try them out
-Headphones are not operable during recharging

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, September 16, 2007
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
Well, I think these are the fines headphones that I have ever own, and I have owned plenty. Let me explain. I have a TMOBILE dash and I have a blue tooth adapter for my home stereo. So I just wanted a pair of headphones for my home stero. Well what I recieved was so much more. Now I pair these headphones to my home stereo and my phone! How cool is that.(Now mind you I did not expect all these fetures) So While I am watching TV or plaing video games through my headphone, if my phone rings it will automatically switch over to my phone! And all I do is talk. Its cool! Then once its done, it switches back. The headphones also allow you to control music from you phone(iif your phone supports it) as far as track forward, backward and volume. There are a host of other feature, but I did not read the manual. Also there is a jack on your headphone where you can plug up a cord to make them corded headphone. Its so cool. They charge via USB and they come with a nifty carrying case. If you are looking for an affordable pair of headphones with alot of versatility, then these are for you(Just dont excercise with these because they with cause your ears to sweat alot, they are not made for excerciseing!)

5.0 out of 5 stars First Class, April 28, 2008
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
I bought this to go with my MP3 Player, so I can listen to music in hotel rooms when traveling without having to hear the AC units running, and I have to say it is amazing. I used it on Saturday when cutting the grass and it was great, does everything except pause/skip tracks. Turns out it is my BT transmitter causing the issues there. The headphones are well made, come in a very nice case which can store the charger and maybe even an MP3 too.
For some reason mine was missing the 2.5-3.5mm cable, which is annoying as I was planning on using it on the plane. I've contacted the seller and I am sure they will take care of it for me.

The best part of these headphones is they are super comfortable. I have worn them for about four hours outside in 90F weather and were not a bit of trouble. Well worth the money and more than five stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love These Headphones!, February 10, 2008
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
I have these paired with my laptop's built in bluetooth running Vista and using the latest Toshiba bluetooth stack.
They sound great and run a long time before needing recharged.
I don't use the cell phone feature so I can't speak for that.
For me, they are much more comfortable than ear buds.

5.0 out of 5 stars S805, January 28, 2008
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
Headphones are comfortable and well built. Sound is very good with surprisingly deep bass. Noise isolation is also very good. Battery life is also very good. I looked all over for a comfortable, quality bluetooth headphone and these were the winners for me. They have performed to my expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works seamlessly with the new iPhone 3.0 update, June 27, 2009
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
I had difficulty finding any info on the new iPhone 3.0 release that included Stereo Bluetooth in the update. I purchased these headphones thinking, well if they don't pair then I'm only out $30. They arrived, they paired easily and the sound quality is great. These are great headphones and the microphone is even good quality when you switch from music to take a call. Highly recommended for anyone with an iPhone.

Not knowing what to expect, I anticipated seeing how these headphones sounded. The sound quality is pretty decent, but better yet the volume great and has somewhat of noise canceling capability. I primarily use these for a five hour mow job, and both my phone and the headphones batteries' last the duration. Would definitely recommend for the reasonable price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lacks the cable, January 17, 2009
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
Purchased these from Shopcell through Amazon. They did not include the audio cable as advertised in other sites. They did include the charger. After installing a IOGear microtransmitter in the USB of my laptop, the headset was recognized but did not play any audio. I found out through research that Microsoft XP was somewhat lacking in its support for USB audio. I had to go to the IOGear sight and download the Broadcom drivers for the Bluetooth transmitter. These drivers capture the audio from the PC and put it on the USB bus. After installing the Broadcom drivers, everything worked as advertised. I think that Vista has the necessary drivers but am not sure. Sound quality is not bad for the price. THe users manual is online at Motorola.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good performance on compatible equipment, December 26, 2008
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
Update, 5/10/09: After disabling the advanced option to connect to the serial port, Bluetooth-PDA-Sync, and disabling the headset option under services, leaving only headphones configured, the sound is markedly improved, and I would recommend their use with a Leopard-configured Mac.

After initial disappointment while testing it on my Macbook, I tried it on a Windows Vista PC. The difference was remarkable. On the Macbook, running Leopard 10.5.5, the sound was muffled, with poor high-frequency response. There were frequent dropouts as well, although I've not seen the kernel panic (bad news in the OS) some users have reported. On the Vista machine, I was impressed with the fidelity. The required Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) implementation on Apple's products seems not to be mature yet, for some reason. It's still missing from the iPhone, at this point.

Bottom line: the quality of your experience with this headset largely depends on the hardware and operating system with which you will use it. On Vista, XP with third party software, and most newer mobile phones, you'll probably have a good experience. Should work on Linux as well. On a Mac, you may not like it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice sound, difficult pairing, August 6, 2009
This review is from: Motorola S805 Bluetooth (DJ Style) Stereo Headphones (Electronics)
These headphones would not pair with that adapter. I also have different ipod bluetooth adapter that they wouldn't pair with. They only seem to work with the Sony one. Yesterday, I downloaded the Ipod Touch OS 3.0 which FINALLY enables the internal bluetooth transmitter on my IPOD touch. When I first attempted to pair these headphones with the ipod it didn't even recognized them. I had to go to the motorola site and look at the specific directions for pairing with the iPhone. It took 3 attempts but it finally worked. Volume adjustment works but not the pause or track changing features. On the other hand, my IO Gear headphones were instantly recognized by the IPOD Touch internal bluetooth radio and paired as soon as I put in the pin code. I just wanted to warn others that upgrade to the IPOD 3.0 OS that you should be careful if you are buying these to use with your Touch without an adapter, be prepared to play with it alittle to get it to work.
