I purchased one of these OEM Motorola batteries as a spare for my ancient Motorola i530 Nextel phone. The Motorola i530 Nextel phones are almost completely obsolete and it is getting harder and harder to find this battery. Last time I tried to order one from Motorola they advised me that they were sold out of that model and due to its age they make only a limited quantity of the model I needed. I was suprised to find genuine Motorola OEM batteries for a phone this old on Amazon for a deccent price. Motorola offers these batteries brand new for around $30. I picked up the exact same battery on Amazon for $10.50. I don't know about you but saving $20 is a no brainer any day. The quality of these batteries are great. They are brand new with no scratches or dings and they hold a charge like my current battery did when it was brand new. I will purchase more of these batteries when I need more.
