1.0 out of 5 stars Junk!, February 12, 2009
By

This review is from: Motorola Southwest Region DSL Modem (Personal Computers)
I had the same "burn out" problem with the first 2210 issued to me by my DSL provider--thing burned out about 11 months after I got it...just in time to barly make the 1 year warrenty. My Dad's 2210 is now having the same problem--stays on 10 to 20 minutes before going belly-up and I'm sure it will soon just stop working like mine did. He'll have to have it replaced. Too bad the DSL provider keeps sending the same hunk-o-junk to it's customers! Buyer beware, indeed! I'm actually afraid the thing is going to have a melt-down & start a fire. I wish Amazon would allow zero stars, or better, negative stars because that's what I'd give this piece of trash.

I am on my second failure with this modem. They run very hot and them fail. I am trying to get my DSL provider to give a different one as these are not good. I do not want to go for three.
