I have new phones and I am trying to get the old pics off my old Motorola. I have a V-300 which is no longer supported by the Motorola website. If you have an older phone like this one and you are trying to download the pics to your computer, this software will work. However, when you install it, you will be prompted to download (separately) the drivers and the updates that are newer than version 4.0. Download the drivers. But, avoid the updates like the plague. I initially downloaded the updates and the software ended up giving me a message that said it no longer supported my old phone which was the same thing the website's software had said when I downloaded it previously. I then uninstalled the whole thing (drivers included) and rebooted. Then, I gave it one last shot and reinstalled everything except for the updates. It worked like a champ. I got everything off my old phone despite Motorola's backwards software that couldn't care less about you as a customer.

MPT 4.0 was very easy to install and works great with my Motorola cell phone. It took several minutes to run the updates but I didn't mind. After the install and updates were finished, I was running version 5. The program is easy to use. I just plug in my usb cable (bought separately) to my phone and pc, then start MPT. The software is easy to use and makes it simple for me to backup my phone or transfer pictures and music.

I bought Motorola Phone tools 4.0 for my Razor to be able to set up my phone book and sync it to my Outlook Phone book. Althogh it worked initially, a couple of days later the system would no longer recognize the phone. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled but it still will no longer talk to the Razr.

I got this product in a very timely manner, and it installed easily onto my laptop and was able to find my phone on the list, along with a ton of other ones, even the really old phones. I did have some problems with transfering ringtones from my laptop to my phone, and it said i needed to spend another 20 bucks on the correct driver. This wasn't the case at all, it was just an error in the coding. So if anyone else buys this program and has the same kind of problems transfering music or pictures, just go to google and type in Motorola Phone tools and the name of the error that you are getting, and you 90% of the time will get a return with the answers that you need for free.

Software installation on my Vista Home system was easy and flawless. Online updating gave me the latest version for a pittance in investment. Excellent alternative to paying $40.

I bought this to upload my Outlook calendar and back up my phone numbers, for my new Razr V3m. (You can use a regular USB cable from a digital camera so no cables are needed.) After numerous software upgrades, the software recognized my phone. However, the Sprint specific software on my phone doesn't allow me to do anything with the Motorola Phone Tools.... so it was a waste of money.

Ordered item with a shipping fee of over 6.00. Can you belive it, a simple CD cost over $6.00 to ship. Then they cancelled my order, and would not refund the shipment money paid. I wrote a couple of emails and finally gave up trying to get my money refunded.

I wonder how many other people fell for the same RIP OFF!

Very good price, albeit lacking USB cable for attachment to computer. Fortunately, a camera cable served the purpose.

The CD was delivered in a very timely fashion. Easay to install, but some of the directions for the functions between program and phone are not clear. This must be a Motorola issue.

Fast ship, great price. What the heck do you say about a cd......it worked as advertised.
