Glad you had this battery. I gave my phone to my mother and the new battery will help keep it going.

Buyers should check the age of the battery (preferably before ordering, but certainly after receipt, particularly when buying "new" replacement batteries for old phones). There is a manufacture date code such as 20060116 printed on these batteries below the bar code. Buyers should check the age of the battery (preferably before ordering, but certainly after receipt, particularly when buying "new" replacement batteries for old phones). There is a manufacture date code such as 20060116 printed on these batteries below the bar code. This is important because Li-Ion battery capacity declines with age and a 3-year old Li-Ion battery from "old stock" might only supply half of its original capacity. Secondly, upon receipt, lay the Li-Ion battery on a flat surface and make sure it's not swollen at all, which is a potentially hazardous condition. Thirdly, if you have a volt-meter, upon receipt you might check to make sure that the battery isn't completely dead, since Li-Ion batteries can be damaged if they're allowed to discharge completely. Just some advice I learned from experience buying some old-stock SNN5749A. Good luck!

These so called new batteries are older than the one you are replacing. These are not honest sellers here on Amazon. If you were buying from Amazon it would be ok but do not waste your time and money. The so called new battery I purchased is almost four years old. It is one year older than the battery that came with my phone. Go to a big box store or Radio Shack somewhere and purchase it.

I thought I reviewed this before, and I thought I gave it a great review. But now that I've been using the battery for a month, it seems like it's losing it's charge faster than when I first got it. At this rate, I wonder if it won't be as bad as my old battery in a few months. I hope not. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
