I have service with t-mobile and upgraded from a nokia to this phone. I have unknowingly put it in a cupholder filled with water for about 1/2 an hour. Let it dry for a few months and it turned on. I have dropped this phone a million times, still works. The only problem I have ever had with it, is changing ringtones. Sometimes after I have exited out of the ringtone screen, the song i have last selected plays until finished. Probably from all the times I have dropped it. I will never get rid of this phone!!

The phones hard to hear out of, and the casing is flimsy. It's extra features are nice... but the two problems with the phone are too key to ignore. This phone has convinced me never to buy a motorola phone again.

Stopped working in then the first month. When they unlocked, they must have done something to the OS on it, since it first started having problems (flashing screen etc) and then ultimately died! :(DONT BUY!

I definitely recommend the Motorola V600 for all who are looking for a REAL upgrade from the Motorola V557 or the Razor. AT&T no longer offers the Motorola V600 claiming that they had numerous complains regarding call dropping. Instead they offer the Motorola V365 which, in my opinion, is not an upgrade to the Motorola V557. In the two months I have had the Motorola V600, I have never had a dropped call nor had any other problems with this phone. The buttons are similar to the V557 except for the SEND and END call buttons which are in opposite positions on the phone so that may take a little getting used to. There are definite improvements to sound quality and style. I have tried many of the phones that AT&T offer, but the Motorola V600 is definitely my favorite.

I have used this phone since 2,5 years now. I have not experinced any of the issues mentioned from the other reviewers, since I have used this phone with a bluetooth since my first day. Never dropped the line (except for a specific area near the airport)never had to talk loud or to hear weekly. Blutooth connection with desktop is spectacular. People were amazed at me surfing the internet through GPRS of my phone while waiting in the gate for my flight. There is enough capacity for clips and MP3. I would rate this phone A VERY GOOD ONE. It's perfect to have a phone that doesn't cost too much and with a lot of features.

I loved the V551, so I know the Motorola V600 will even be better,

I have very specific features I look for in a cell phone and I find that Motorola is one of the best!!! I compared my Motorola V551 to all my other cells from the pass, even a couple since then, and was simply disappointed in some way. I'm sure with the V600 being an upgraded version from the V551, I will be even more impressed with the features!

this was my second motorola after numerous NOKIA's! what a mistake. too bad nobody at moto has taken the time to use a NOKIA. all they need to do is use any NOKIA once, and even they would switch. NEVER EVER buy a cell tel from moto. I just got a Nokia 6102i from cingular - free upgrade. this is not even a high end phone and it BLOWS AWAY the moto.mine went in for service within a month and had nothing but trouble thereafter, and could barely hook up with my first and second moto bluetooth headsets. i had to go bluetooth, because when i used the factory moto wired headset, i got nothing but feedback and buzzing. i tried other brand headsets too - to no avail. the nokia's sync right up with the moto bluetooth. go figure. HEY MOTOROLA, WAKE UP! People actually use these things and can figure out your products are way way behind. In fact, my 5-7 yr old nokia's are way better than this v-600,v-400, 720 etc. Never ever again will I spend a nickel on moto junk. Sorry to rant, but it is true! if i could vote a negative star rating, i would!

Enough to make me switch to a different brand,
This review is from: Motorola V600 Unlocked Cell Phone--U.S. Version with Warranty (Silver) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This phone has been nothing but trouble. When it works, which is not often, its great. The rest of the time it drops calls like crazy. I have already sent it to the factory once to have it repaired. I have to constantly turn it off and on to get it to recognize the nearest tower. I am getting a new phone soon and am looking forward to running over this one with my truck.

Reception is terrible, droped calls, failed calls, callers can't hear each other, and something is always breaking. We got 4 of these on a family plan. During the 1 year warrante period we exchanged three of them multiple times each for various reasons (backlight died, reception worse than even on the other v600s, unable to hang up calls, camera broke, entire phone just died,...). Now that the warrante is up and we have a year to go on the plan we're stuck.
