Amazon.com Product Description
For design-conscious consumers who want a cost-friendly phone but aren't prepared to compromise on style and functionality, the Motorola W375 delivers a rich feature set at an affordable price. Offering the best of the basics for work and play, the W375 provides a variety of features for premium entertainment, communications, and organization. Enjoy the imaging, gaming, and music functionality while you rock to your favorite radio station via the built-in FM radio. When you need to manage business, the W375 has the organizational tools you need. Other features include a WAP 2.0 Web browser, polyphonic ringtones, an internal antenna, USB connectivity (including mass storage mode), and an advanced VGA camera. Complete with a slim clamshell design and a large color screen, the Motorola W375 is the perfect mobile device to stay in style, in touch, and entertained.

Design
Weighing in at an ultra-light 3.1-ounces, the super-slim W375 fits comfortably in your hand and flips open effortlessly to reveal a large and vivid full-color 128 x 160 screen and streamlined keypad. Instead of an external LCD, the W375 sports a series of unique, light-up icons that signal new messages, low battery, and other events. The VGA camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control while an internal antenna supplements the phone's sleek design. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad. Use the phone's stereo-compatible 2.5mm headset jack with your favorite stereo earphones or handsfree headset. Lastly, charging and USB data connectivity can be found on the bottom edge of the phone.

Calling Features
The W375's internal phonebook can hold up to 100 contacts and includes picture phonebook options. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. There's even an included application, MotoMixer, that lets you mix your own ringtones, while the built-in, office-quality speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
Delivering a full suite of organizational features, the Motorola W375 makes juggling business and pleasure seamless. You can manage your schedule via the included calendar and alarm clock, keep track of colleagues with vCard capabilities, or host a meeting over the integrated speakerphone. You can even transfer media files such as pictures and polyphonic ringtones from your PC through the phone's supported USB cable option. There's even an included currency converter.

The W375 is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound, and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in VGA camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. The phone ships with a built-in email client, and there's also a built-in WAP 2.0 Web browser for fast mobile Web browsing. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

Getting on the Internet is easy with the W375 as it supports the GPRS connection protocol. When used with a carrier data plan (not included) and the phone's USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.

Imaging and Entertainment
The Motorola W375 is no slouch when fun is on the agenda. Want to share your latest adventure with family and friends? Just snap and send images on-the-go via the phone's integrated VGA camera that features a 4x zoom. Or, simply save your best shots as wallpaper to the W375's brilliant color display, and enjoy them every time you flip open the handset. The W375 has it covered when you need to turn downtime into fun time. Play pre-loaded games, or download and personalize your phone with the latest MP3 ringtones. Enjoy the W375's integrated FM radio via speakerphone or the supported stereo headset jack.

Vital Statistics
The Motorola W375 weighs 3.1 ounces and measures 3.89 x 1.78 x .73 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 7.5 hours of digital talk time, and up to 250 hours of digital standby time. It runs on the GSM/GPRS 850/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst phone I have ever owned, December 17, 2007
By Mevans (California USA) - See all my reviews
This phone is probably the worst I have ever owned. I cannot wait to get a new one, because this one is so bad. First of all. There is no screen on the front which is just annoying because you can't see who is calling you or what time it is until you flip the thing open. I get horrible reception everywhere I go, and zero reception in a lot of places. The phone I had before was fine in those same areas. There is no predictive text for text messaging which makes sending a short message a tedious chore. The back cover falls off everyday. Over all it looks nice, but when you get down to it, its just not practical considering all the other phones out there. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent cheap phone but a little dissappointing on somethings, May 17, 2007
Overall a decent cheap phone, however there are a few things that bother me.
1) No external screen to see incoming caller ID and no external time display
2) FM reciever is cool but it requires the headset to be plugged in to get reception so even if you want it on speaker the head set nedds to be available.
3) The feel of the buttons are very numb, tough to tell if a button was actually pressed or not, not a big deal for dialing but in games it kinda sucks.
4)Over all the phone has the awkward feel of the first in the RAZR series and really I don't like that, it's thin sure..but they make up for it in making the just a little too wide for my tastes.
5) Reception is ok.... so far it is getting the same reception range my old v220 did with a cracked antenna. Not impressive for a phone that is a much newer release.

Again these are just the things I was disappointed with and if these things don't bother you then I am sure it will make a good phone for you. But for me I was a little disappointed. It met my expectations but it certainly did not exceed them in any area.

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic, November 2, 2008
Its a phone. It makes calls, it sends text messages, and can even take some pictures. If you're sharp, you can upload a custom ringtone to the phone.
Can be pretty slow...typing a text message takes a while, since the text doesn't show up for half a second to a second. Address book searching and scrolling is similar; don't press a button a few times to scroll down one thing, you will end up at the bottom.
