5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money February 26, 2011

I got this keyboard the day after I got my Xoom. I wasn't sure how useful it would be, but I do a lot of email so I decided to give it a try. Right after I got the bluetooth configured, I realized it was certainly worth the money. The keyboard has special Android specific keys such as all of the "hard keys" (back, home, menu, and search) that are on an Android phone as well as others that make it so you can use the keyboard to do a lot of your navigating, not just typing. The keyboard is well made and the keys are sturdy. If you are going to use your Xoom for work, this is an accessory you will want.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonderfully with Nexus 7 November 15, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought this to use with my Nexus 7 at work. I frequently use my tablet to look up references since I work on one monitor, and the on-screen keyboard rapidly becomes a drag when you do a lot of typing.

Pros:
- Build quality is actually much better than I expected; it's very lightweight, but it doesn't feel cheap
- The tactile feedback, while not astronomical, is better than I expected, such that I actually enjoy typing on it
- Once it was paired, I've had no issues with connectivity
- It runs on two AAs, which is a good thing in my opinion; we always have spare AAs lying around, but never any AAAs
- Most of the shortcut keys appear to work on my Nexus 7; see Other Remarks

Cons
- Doesn't come with a case; I don't hold this against it, as it doesn't claim to come with one, but it's definately something to be aware of if you plan to cart it around a lot
- The status light can be a bit perplexing; the instructions explain it fully, though
- Some of the shortcut keys don't work on Nexus 7; see Other Remarks

Other Remarks
- On Nexus 7, the shortcut keys that work (in my experience) are the music playback controls, volume up and down, music library, contacts, email, home, back, and search; the ones that do not work are mute/unmute, internet, and chat
- The keyboard doesn't appear to ever automatically power off, which is nice in that it doesn't intterrupt your typing if you take a short break, but also draws battery life if you forget to power it off
- Unfortunately there's no page up or page down keys, but the arrow keys will still scroll up and down a web page if you're using Chrome

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this keyboard, especially for the modest pricetag. I actually typed this review on my tablet with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A worthy keyboard April 10, 2011
By Servo
I bought this keyboard for my Xoom. I purchased it a week prior to see if it would work on my ideapad s10-3t, ipod touch, and HTC-Incredible. And it worked great, here and there the signal gets lost and needs a minute to reconnect if you stop typing for more than 30 seconds but that is just a small annoyance. Otherwise it works great responsive light nice layout. Now you may be wondering if the shortcut keys work on windows and it does. The back arrow is escape the android menu button is the windows menu button and a few android keys don't work on windows but most do just a small learning curve. As for the ipod touch a few worked but it was meant for android. My final thoughts this is a great but pricey keyboard if you have the galaxy tab, xoom, or android smart phone this is a worthy purchase and the fact it is compatible with windows and apple products just boost its value. The only reason I gave it a 4 was that 30 second disconnect issue.

2.0 out of 5 stars Thought it would have better operability
Misses capability to really be able to remotely manage the Xoom.

Such as a cursor that can be moved to point and select.

It's now missing 6 keys. They just fall off, partly because there is no case. Is this really Motorola? I wonder.
