Rick James was the top of the heap, and one of the greatest artists ever back in the early 80s. This album does contain many of his lesser-known ballad-type songs. But all of his dance hits are here! If you want a James compilation that will contain all your favorites, this is the one!

Great Song by the King of Funk,

back in the day it was all about What CHA SAY? give it to ME. Rick James had the trademark Horns and in the pocket grooves bustin out on this Funk Classic. it's one of the most tripped out Jams that I can ever recall and yet in Rick James Fashion he made it a monster hit. Rick could always build up a Jam from start and knock it out in the finish. the Stone City Band was holding it down together with Rick James.

RICK JAmes has always been a Great Musicial Genius.His Music Is Funky but also has many other Textures too it as well.His Work Blends So Many Styles all at once but yet he has his own Style&Sound.You&I,Cold Blooded&Dream Maker are some of the many Great Songs here from this Great Writer,Producer,Musician&Vocalist.He can Groove on any Style.Very Essential.
