Biography

The Undisputed Truth were the psychedelic soul group project of Motown writer and producer Norman Whitfield, who later gave some of his Undisputed Truth songs (such as "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" and "Law of the Land") to The Temptations, who were looking to make a transition from the clean-cut vocal group style of 60s Motown to a more modern 70s sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars good motown funk cloned after funkadelic, February 17, 2003

This review is from: Motown Milestones (Audio CD)
man these were some good jams back in the day UT was tight and one of motown's funkier underrated groups molded after funkadelic who really pioneered some of the guitar riffs that norman whitfield loved so much, eddie hazel, and billy bass nelson even played on a track or 2 if I'm not mistaken anyway this is for funkovers only.
