I enjoyed this book, as it gives clear explanations with lots of detailed illustrations of the processes of mouldmaking. I wanted to find out about different techniques, and the information in the book was great.The activities were described in simple language with common terms and explanations. Most of the materials used in the book, are easily available, and the importance of selection is included. Some of the behind-the-scenes activities are included in the descriptions of the mouldmaking, so that most of the steps are obvious. Some prior, basic understanding is expected when reading the book, but I was able to expand my knowledge and I am keen to try more adventurous projects.

The book is an excellent text on mold making and should be classified as for the higher than novice to expert practitioner. Text is clear and unambiguous. I highly recommend it to those wishing to experiment or work on molds for a variety of uses.
