This feeder works just like advertised. You pull it out, put in the batteries, fill it up, and hang it, it works. The thing that I really like about it, is that it feeds well after sun up and well before sundown. This helps keep the deer from being totaley nocturnal. The only complaint about this product is that I have to fill it once a week, but this thing is easy to pack in collapsed and this is a bonus if you have to pack it very far at all. I am use to 55 gal. feeders that only have to be refilled once during the season, but this year I am having to pack the feed a long way, so I only have to pack about 30 lbs. a week. I love the thing.

The feeder came well packed. It was assembled quickly with minimal need of instructions. We hung ours out in the wooded area behind our house on a strong limb. The feeder works well spreading at dusk and dawn. The only issue we have had is a squirrel chewed through the wire from the solar panel to the feeder itself. I have yet to splice it back on. The feeder continues to work. We just pull out and recharge the batteries every month. Very good product. It has fed the squirrels well. Just waiting for the deer to come back.

This is a nice auto feeder for the price. I ordered one one after liking the first one so well. With the limited 5 gal storage, I would not ever be to able to use it for deer. I got these to feed the birds and critters here at the house. I use a mix of sunflower seeds, whole corn and chicken scratch. The birds and squrrels are all loving the fresh dry food. Easy to set up and program in just a few minutes. I am only running 1 of the 4 timers times available Run time set for 6 seconds.
Cons- The only one draw back is that during a 40mph wind I did see some of the grains being blown out. But this happens to most feeders as well.
This is a Super Small Feeder at a low price.

Followered instructions, but after turning the lid, I can't get it to open. I called and waited 25 minutes to talk with customer service and my wife has emailed the company directly, but no response from them as of this morning. If the lid can't be opened, then it will be of no use to us and we will have to return the item. A call is being placed at this time.
