I purchased two of these feeders, they seem easy to assemble and to set the feeding times. I had to "southern engineer" one of the two feeders, because both the barrel and the hooper sections of the feeder had holes drilled into them for the mounting of the timer boxes. This would not have been a problem if Moultrie had sent me two timer boxes, but alas that wasn't the case. The feeder is easy fill because the legs are so short, so I used iron T-fence posts to give them some height. You are taking your chances when purchasing this feeder, because in my case one of the two I purchased was defective.

I purchased three of these feeders in the off-season when they were on sale and stored them until the next season. When I opened the boxes I was missing one control unit. I called Moultrie expecting that they would send me the missing part, and I was made to feel like I was being dishonest because I didn't open the product right away! Anyone who has stored a feeder of this size knows how much room they take up once they are removed from the box and put together. It is a shame that the company didn't choose to do the right thing and correct their mistake!

I had another brand of feeder that I took back. It was very hard to get it assembled and was not as well built as this one.
I have only had this one a few days and it functions very well. I set the timer to sync with my watch and so far it is right on the minute.
One review said it didn't throw corn very far, I dissagree with that. Mine throws it farther than I really want,but the deer do not mined,so I guess that is the main thing.
Just a note if you buy the solar panel make sure with a new feeder you get the Model in this photo I posted. This model plugs right in the feeder control box. I ordered another model by Moultrie and would have had to drill a hole to hook it to my battery.
This is a well built feeder and I have raccoons and squirrels,but so far no problems.

Easy to assemble, controls are easy to use and it is easy to fill.

It does not broadcast the corn as far as I would like but it does a pretty good job.

I would buy another one.
