For those hunters out there, this is a must. Forget replacing batteries. The solar panel recharges fast. I use this in a fairly dense wooded area and am very pleased with the fact that a clear view of the sun is not needed.

I haven't put my feeders out yet, but I measured the output voltage from the panel in several different locations. On a sunny day in the full shadow of my house it measured 7-8 volts. The voltage increased as I moved into the woods and then into full sunlight. I'm pleased that it seems it will provide enough voltage to keep the battery charged even in deep woods.

does what it says it does so far. connected it to my moultrie trail cam seems to keep battery charged.left it in for 5 days it took 25 pics compared to a regular battery that lasted one day.

This charger has kept the battery in my Moultrie feeder at 100% even in the winter months. It more than pays for itself in time saved and expense of buying batteries.
