I bought this camera to use while hunting. I liked the small size since it would be much easier than dragging a typical camera around through the woods and take up less space around a treestand. The picture/video quality is decent and is what I would have expected from this unit. A couple improvements I wish it had would be to have better mounting options. Also, I edit my movies in Windows Movie Maker and unfortunately it can't handle the HD video that this camera takes. I am still searching for a new video editing software or some type of conversion software that would allow me to edit my movies in Windows Movie Maker.

I recently purchased this camera for my first ever bear hunt. I was successful in capturing a badger and the bear I took on camera. The video is really good. The microphone for sound is fair. I showed the other hunters in camp the video that I took that they were interested in buying one for themselves. In fact, one hunter had a similar type of camera from another manufacturer, and was going to return it to buy the Moultrie. The reason was the ease of operation and quality. One thing, practice using the unit before taking on a hunt. Though I had footage of the bear, I missed the shot due to the camera being mounted on my visor. When lining up my sights, my head was tilted and did not capture the shot.

I bought this camera hoping to get some good footage of deer while hunting. I was very pleased with the ease of operation and the quality of the video. I actually mounted the camera on top of my scope and it worked great. The only draw back is the viewing screen on the camera is on top and would be much more practical if it were located on the rear of the unit as you would be able to view what the camera is recording. I did get some great footage though and would recommend this to anyone that would like to record any type of outdoor activity. Now I am looking forward to the spring turkey season to get even more footage.

You can't beat this little camera for the money. It comes with everything you need to mount to your bow. It comes with the TV out cable. Digital zoom is grainy but not really needed. Nice clear even in low light. I am very pleased with this product.

I thought that you could use this just like a normal hunting camera but you can' t.
It only works when you push the buttons to activate it only, there is no motion activation
On the camera you have to activate it yourself!
It is an excellent camera though, great pic and video!

Tryed this camera behind the house shooting my bow. Cant wait for hunting season, Not a dought in my mind it will work great. The next best thing to having a camera man with you. If you want great memories, Buy one.

Cam works great except for a few problems. First when operating with the bow mount the battery door kept poping open after 2 shots. I solved this problem with some electrical tape. Just when I thought I had everything whipped the cam started to fall of the bow after three shots. The shoe the camera mounts to for the bow mount vibrates upon shooting and cam slides backwards off the bow. Still trying to figure out why the cam won't play on the TV with the RCA cables and the SD card won't play any videos on my computer. If anyone has any solutions to the above mentioned please feel free to help others and myself out.

I bought this camera just before turkey season this year hoping to capture some good hunts so friends & family could understand why I love hunting the "King of Spring" as I call them! Unfortunately, I've made two videos with two different gobblers & no such luck with the either kill shot. The first was that Ol' Tom's fault but the other, which would have been a beautiful video was my own fault!! This camera takes good videos but practice prior to using is needed. I've only used the hat clip & when aiming down the barrel, you have to offset the camera on the bill depending on which hand you shoot with. All & all this camera deserves a 4 stars in my book! Good luck to future buyers of this product!!!

good camera, takes getting used to. I had to order the av out cable seperately from moultrie.
does not come with av cable.
