My Moultrie game camera failed the second time it was used. It was still under warranty. I reported to Moultrie and received no response. I reminded them near (but before) the end of the warranty period and they apologized, explaining that they had mislaid my earlier request for help. I followed the instructions they provided and found that indeed the unit would need their repair, but when I contacted them, they refused to help because by this time, the warranty had elapsed. I am pursuing complaints through the State Attorneys General of Ohio and Alabama and am considering a claim in court. Upon looking for help I noticed other reviews by consumers that had warranty problems with Moultrie. Be careful when you purchase their products: they have trouble delivering functional products and have a spotty record honoring their warranty.

The good news: When hooked up and working, this is a great system. We had troops from across the world tuned in on the game cam at my friends' ranch in South Texas. The bad news: Modem went off line after six months. Constant calling equals 20 minute waits on phone. Finally, one customer service rep comes through. Modem is fixed and shipped back. Warranty honored. But only after extreme effort. In sum: Product is great. You will want/need solar hookup -- or be prepared to burn batteries like matches. Soon as you get camera installed and it is working, start calling customer service. By the time it has failed, you will get through. Wish I was kidding on how bad customer service is. Product on the other hand is amazing when it works. Very cool uplinks to your website.

Its better then nothing. However it does have glitches. checks in every night and has plenty of signal strength. however often uploads very few of the photos it takes. have all my web settings correct also. this is truelly first gen. i hope they make some improvements.
