This review is from: Car Mount Cell Phone Holder for Sprint HTC Hero (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The car mount holder for the Sprint Hero is a cheap and effective way to mount your phone for GPS navigation. The holder is very flexible, allowing virtually any desired orientation for viewing the phone. The holder also expands to fit other devices, such as other phones, mp3 players, or dedicated GPS units.
Pros: + Inexpensive + Holds phone well + Expands to fit other devices + Flexible Cons: - Somewhat cheap, plastic build - Not as attractive as others - More difficult to touch edges of the screen near the bottom Overall I think this is a decent product. If you're looking for an inexpensive removable mount for devices in your car, this seems like a good fit.

I purchased this product in Dec 09. Since then it has never fallen off my windshield, and I drive a commercial vehicle 10 hours a day. Due to its longer flexible design it shakes slightly with the motion of the vehicle, but nothing you couldn't adjust to. It expands greatly to fit my fat and long Motorola i615 as well as my slim iPhone.
It is a good product for its price.

I ordered this product since it had a good amount of reviews. Boy was i wrong! I haven't had the thing for a week and it already lost suction. Everytime i tried to adjust the angle it plops off the windshield. Not to mention my phone goes falling on the floor possibly damaging it and putting my driving in danger. It's really cheap made of plastic. Do yourself a favor and invest in something else. At least i only wasted five dollars.

The item was inexpensive and I knew that when I purchased the item. I was looking for a cheap solution to a phone mount.
Pros: Cheap, Suction Cup Works well Cons: When mounting the phone to use as a GPS (Landscape) the mount when securely clamped actually changed my volume, and has done this many times. Its not a big deal, but annoying. The curved neck on the mount is very flexible to allow it to fit most uses. The only issue I had was that it was extremely long and depending on your usage may be good or bad.

Works with Zune and HTC Phone Great!,

I bought this for my HTC Hero phone, but have found my Zune works great with it as well due to the perfect cut out at the bottom for a car charger. I have it attached with the suction cup to the dash, have not used the vent clip. Very sturdy and love the ability to have my MP3 player in view while driving instead of in my lap. Great purchase!

I've used this holder with an HTC (Sprint) Hero and Evo 4G. Both work well with it. There is space below it to connect your power cord. It's pretty stable. I have a pretty easy time reading the phone (at stop lights obviously). It feels secure. The phone has never fallen out in about a year of use. Once in a while the motion of the car causes the holder to shake. It's pretty minor and I think just has to do with the length of the arm. I bend it in a "L" or "U" shape to stabilize it. Overall, I've had this holder longer than my phones and my bluetooth headsets. That's saying something!

This product is a plastic piece of junk. It Worked good for about three weeks and then it would no longer close on the phone in order to hold it in place. Do not waste your money on this junk!!!!

The windshield mount ridge was too wide for the slot. The instructions were obviously not for anyone from an English speaking country. I've emailed the seller but I expecet that I've wasted my money.

Made in China, of course. It is really cheap, I really doubt that the teeth in the adjustable jaws will last long. Don't try to use it in a PU truck, there is no good way to mount it. The clear plastic photo cover melted in the Arizona sun. The suction cup and adjustable post are very sturdy. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I'm very unhappy with this item. I purchased it based on the previous reviews and thought it would be sufficient for my needs. It constantly falls off my window and is only really effective if I have it mounted so that it sits on my dash. You get what you pay for.
