I ordered two of these for my 23" LCDs. Overall they're very good but I couldn't give them 5 stars for two reasons. First, one mount seems to lean slightly when the monitor is mounted. I know I torqued the mounting bolts very tightly and the monitor only weighs 14lbs but these stands are rated for ~30lbs so they shouldn't struggle with my LCD.
Second minus is when you rotate the monitor to portrait you lose your up-down tilt. It's not a big minus because I am keeping the monitor in portrait mode so I just rotated the mount 90 deg. but if you like to change orientation regularly just keep that in mind.

* Took more time to unpack the thing than it did to set it up.
* I have it mounted (clamped) to an Ikea desk, but a thicker desk would not be a problem.
* Height adjust, swivel, tilt, rotate... all the motion is awesome making it really flexible for the user.
* Cable guides are easy to use.
* Would like an option to mount a second screen.

I plan to buy another.

Reasonably sturdy and well constructed, it attached to my desk with a minimum of fuss. I've used it for several weeks now and it does most of its intended uses well. However, I frequently have to swing my monitor around to show the screen contents to a customer sitting in front of my desk and each time I pivot the monitor arm it slides down the main support post a little bit so that after two or three swings, the monitor has slid 6" or so down and is sitting on the desk. No amount of tightening on the set screw will keep this from happening and I have a comparatively small (by today's standards) 22" monitor so the weight is not excessive. There needs to be an indent, notch, keyway, catch or something similar to prevent this. If I don't pivot the arm, it stays solidly where I set it but unfortunately my job requires that I do pivot it so I have to raise and re-tighten the arm every few days which is, to say the least, very irritating.

this monitor arm is great - installs super-easy, solid materials, fit my 22" fine (with a lot of settings to cover more sizes, probably). the clamp also fit well on my desk which is particle board, and not particularly thick (1.5 cm?), which isn't true of other cheap arms. one small quibble is you need an allen key (provided) to move the whole unit up and down, whereas side-to-side and rotation is all on hinges, and can be done by hand. not the biggest deal in the world, but worth pointing out. given the price of so many other monitor arms out there, though, this thing is a steal!

I have a dual stand and want to add another screen for my setup. This one does the job nicely and is very nice as the arm can move in and out very easily, unlike my dual stand. Highly recommended to those who just want a simple, yet very stylish and nice looking stand. Love it!

This fully articulating stand mounts solidly to your desk or any flat surface. Using a conversion bracket, I was able to mount my 27 inch flat panel monitor to the stand successful. I realize now that it is a plus to not have a hydraulic arm since those tend to break.

first i'd like to say this, i got this stand because i aquired from a salvage yard a working flatscreen vga monitor, and was previously using a 50 lb crt monitor, the flatscreen didn't have a stand to speak of, and i wanted something that had 0.00 chance of falling, (because i've seen how some stands flop forward if you misalign them)

the screen doesn't lock in position on any of the joints, on most of them, this is a plus, but two of them could have really benefitted from some kind of locking mechanism, one of them being the mount, it doesn't lock into position so if you have an unbalanced monitor, it'll be difficult to put it into vertical position, second ids the conection to the rod, it's held on by the friction between metal and rubber, so it will slide down'ever so slowly,

besides that the cinstruction is superb, the alloy is solid, very little plastic used, it's all heavy duty steelm abd a tiny bit of aluminum, and it comes with all the tools for assembly, but not tuning, but there's a likeleyhood anyone who'd be gettting this for it's intended purpose would have the required tools to use it properly

Box was heavy, like a sack of taters heavy. This thing is heavy duty too... and it works very well for me. The adjustable and re-positionable clamp just happened to have just enough opening to go over the perimeter of the top bunks outer edge and hang there. Put a stretchy cord along the shaft and hooked it to the back edge of the top bunk to hold it in place. Put another one around the top of the shaft and pulled it taught to take off tension from the threaded sleeve - which its hanging upside down, opposite of its intended use - and it works very well. Because the shaft is height adjustable it doesn't swivel other than around and, via three connected pieces, it moves lil closer or farther away. I am more than satisfied with this product. Its made very well, performs its intended function quite nicely and I do not feel like I was overcharged to buy it.
Good job guys. Thank You.
