Overall - a decent mount that could do the job but in no way even near the original Samsung mount. Build quility is inferior, finish not as great and overall looks very shoddy. But what can you expect for twenty five dollars. Mind you - if the only concern is price - this will do the job and help securely mount the TV to the wall. Also the orginal samsung mount has two rotary rings with grooves on the two circular discs that get bolted to the wall. The rotary rings make it easy to adjust the TV and slide it left or right once mounted to level it - and then the clip like grooves hold the hanging cable once you push it down - locking the cable in place. This mount does not have the rotary rings.

This is a no brainer. Why pay up to $300.00 when you can buy this one for $50.00. The only thing missing were the heavy duty brackets to insert into drywall. It came with metal lags, but I was not comfortable depending on those to support my $2,100.00 investment. So I went to Home Depot and for $6.00 bought two that will hold up to 150 lbs. each. It took about 30 minutes to install. Great bargain.

As the other reviewer said, later model Samsungs will require shorter screws. Why in the world don't they just include 4 more shorter screws?

Be advised that if you want a true slim-fit mount, you need to set the outlet back into the wall, as the plug for the Samsungs protrude past the mount causing your TV to sit on the plug. Or, you can use the spacers or set the mounts off the wall with wood blocking. This sort of defeats the whole purpose of these Ultra Slim-fit mounts, but unless you do this and depending on where your outlet is, your TV may end up sitting with the bottom angled up.

This mount could have been amazing since it is so slim it disappears. Yet once it was hanging it took less than 10 days for the plastic, yes plastic! bracket that hold the cable to snap and cause our brand new 55" samsung 3d tv to fall and dangle from the hdmi and ps3 cables. The cable was intact and thank Goodness the tv did not hit the floor or else it would have been a total loss.

The metal brackets that go on the wall are still up and super sturdy. The mount is supposed to hold up to 100 lbs. And our tv only weighs 48 so go figure!

Would strongly advise you against this bracket instead go with any metal slim to the wall bracke. Believe me, you do not want to see your investment come crashing on the marble floor!

I gave this a 2 star rating... it's worth the $26 I paid for it. But I'd rather pay even double that for something like this that is higher quality. First- this is strictly a "figure it out for yourself" deal. No text in the tiny instruction sheet- and even the pictures are so small you need a magnifying glass to try to make them out. Second- I needed my own washers, because one screw was too long to fit tightly in my new Samsung 40" LCD. Three fit fine- one did not. Finally, one of the wood screws they supplied snapped in two going into a stud. That forced me to try to dig it out or move the mount location. This is the 4th HDTV I've mounted on a wall- but the first time this has happened. Really- can't you spend a few cents on less cheap screws that will hold up a very expensive TV?

This was an off-brand version of the Samsung picture frame style low profile wall mount and it is great.
TV is less than 2" off the wall front to back and this mount was very easy to install.
The only issue was the bolts that came with the mount that are supposed to be used with the spacers provided were too long, but a quick trip to my local hardware store fixed that problem. 4 new bolts with the same thread pattern in a slightly shorter length fixed the problem. It was very easy to install.

I got this because it was a lot cheaper than the Samsung equivalent.
When it arrived I found one 4 x 8 instruction sheet with only vague pictures where you really couldn't tell even the most simple details like which direction the spacer or something faced. The depressed connections on UN40C6500 made it not compatible because with inserts screws were too short, or too long. Without inserts the mount didn't sit evenly on the tv.

I was hesitant to purchase this mount because it was so cheap compared to the one that Samsung makes. But after reading the reviews I decided to buy it anyways. I purchased this mount for my Samsung-46" LED (UN46C6300SF). Some of the reviews said that the bolts may be too long. I thought to myself, what the heck, $27 w/shipping+a few bolts beats $120 for Samsung's mount. I received this product fairly quickly. It is extremely easy to install onto the TV itself. Essentially, it works just like mounting a painting (except it has 2 pivot points). The only negative I see is that the mounting points on the wire are too close. In other words, you won't be able to mount them both in the studs. One will go into the stud and the other into the dry wall. So, while the bolts fit perfectly into the TV, I did have to purchase a fancy drywall screw (or a few of them since they don't sell just one). Since the TV is so light, I think the mount should be able to handle it. It's been a month so far and it seems to be holding up. We'll see what happens when the next earthquake hits. Also, I recommend attaching a safety wire to one of the bottom bolts and screwing that into the stud.Mount World LED01 Samsung Ultra Slim Wall Mount WMN1000B

I got this for our Samsung 55" LED TV. As others mentioned, the screws that attach to the back of the TV are a little too long for the latest, thinnest TV models. If you are going to install it without the spacers, you can just buy four 8mm x 16mm mechanical screws at your local hardware store. Since the distance between the 'hooks' is 18cm-22cm, it will be difficult to drill into the studs, so pick up some good drywall anchors (I got 75lb ones) while you are it.

Installation is a breeze, not more difficult than hanging a (somewhat heavy) picture frame.

The mount looks almost as good as the Samsung $300 version. Can't argue with the price. As other reviews mentioned the screws are a little too long for the newest Samsung LED tv's. So you'll need to get some shorter screws at home depot to mount the cable and spacers to the back of the tv.
