"The Sealovers were rewarded for their travels with memories and experiences to savor for a lifetime, and they've rewarded readers of "Mountain Brew" with 224 pages of useful and entertaining knowledge about Colorado's love of beer and the people who make it." --Patrick Malone, The Pueblo Chieftain

"...not just a guide to Colorado's breweries, but THE guide to the state's best microbreweries...The guide offers details how some are made and how others came into being. It's a living history of beer, past and present, and hints to where the budding industry may head in the future." --Charles Ashby, The Daily Sentinel

This is a great way to get out and see the Colorado scenery and enjoy the amazing craft beer that this state has to offer! The style of writing and the stories told make it seem like you've already met the people at the breweries before you even get there. If you love beer and breweries this is a must read!

What's remarkable about this book is that someone didn't write it long ago. Now that Colorado has more than 100 breweries, it's about time that we have a guidebook for them. This is a good book to pique your curiosity about craft brewers, their history and their personalities. (It's not so much a guide to the beers themselves.) Each brewery gets a short writeup, and ten of the best get longer, more detailed treatments. I have out of town, beer fan guests coming in soon, and we'll make great use of this book.

Format: Paperback
I picked up Mountain Brew at a signing at a local brewery here in Denver. Before reading this book I was only familiar with the larger and well known Colorado breweries, this book opened my eyes to the many breweries located in Colorado. I loved reading the stories of breweries from all over Colorado, I felt like I was traveling across the state with the author. The beginning of the book includes maps of all the breweries, which has me planning a few road trips. This book is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good beer.

Its a great book with lots of interesting information. Sure there are some typos/editing misses but its a great/quick read. Due to the boom of craft brewing its already a little outdated. Sealover will need to publish an update soon

This book covers the gambit of small to big boys of brewing! It has maps and even talks about the flagship beers from every location. I love to try micro brews and visiting local breweries is a passion, if you are the same this book is worth it!
