Before I found this book, I only dreamed of such a publication. After some searching I found it. If you are an RV-er and want to know where the steep grades and such are...this is it. The text is not exhaustive but provides more than enough info. The colored graphics/maps are great and just what I envisioned. Well worth the money.

Any RVer (we have a motor home) heading east needs to have this directory. We recently used the Mountain Directory West and this provided us with detailed areas that we needed to avoid, such as narrow tunnels, passes and roads that require special attention, and other areas that we needed to consider. This directory helped to make our trip safer and more enjoyable. We will be traveling east in a few weeks and I am confident this directory will be a fine aid for our travels.

This book will be helpful when we plan trips through out the east. The book for the western states prevented us from starting on a road that would have been difficult to travel on.

This will really come in handy when my husband and I can get back on the road again with our camper. It is very detailed with what roads to be cautious on or avoid based on grades, curves, narrowness etc.

If you plan to tow heavy loads on unfamiliar highways in mountainous areas, this Directory can be a valuable safety tool.

We bought both East and West Books and are looking forward to using them in our Motorhome travels. They seem to be a very helpful book.
